Good questions...All have answers
Posted On: 12/07/08 09:52:10 PM Age 28, GA
Yes two of every "kind" on board the ark. Yes two of a "kind" can repopulate the earth. Creatures from Australia did not have to make the journey to the middle east, because Australia was not there. Even evolutionary geologists agree that the land masses were once a massive super continent. They did not have to bring 2 of every insect. Yes two of every bird "kind". Also, the boat was larger than 40 X 40. It was 300 X 50 X 30 in cubits. Also, the Biblical "kind" and our definition of a species are not the same thing. Scientists have estimated that Noah would only need around 16,000 animals on the ark to repopulate every species we see today. 16,000 animals would only take up about 30% of the ark. I agree that the earth used to not have polar ice caps. Those formed after the flood. Yes there are references to a possible ice age in Job. Your question about water is very simple to answer as well. The seas we see today are the remains of the flood waters. The mountains we see today were not around before the flood. They were formed at the end of the flood. Check Psalms 104. The topography of the earth today is drastically different than the pre flood world. If the flood accont in the Bible is not true, then why are there more than 270 flood legends all other the world? Why do we find fossilized sea creatures on the highest mountains? Why do we see rock, supposed to be millions of years old, bent at 90 degree angles? Why do we find billions of dead things buried in rock layers laid down by water all over the earth? Most of your questions originate out of trying to explain the pre flood world by looking at the post flood world. The flood drastically changed everything. The other questions basically come from a misunderstanding of the definition of the word "kind" in the creation and flood account in the Bible. I hope these answers help.

Yes, the land masses were once a supercontinent, but that was millions of years ago. Earth is constantly going in and out of ice ages, and the period we are in now is simply a lull in between ice ages. The latest ice age ended ~10 kya. Yes, there are many cultures that have flood legends, but they are almost all different. And the cultures that inhabit regions that don't experience local floods... no flood myths. Fossilized sea creatures are found on mountains because of tectonic activity. Check the ages of these fossils, they are older than thousands of years old (more like millions of years old, at the least). Check the rock formations that the sea creature fossils are found in, it's ocean floor basalt that has been pushed up by two convergent boundaries that were once separated by ocean. Also, do some research on rock deformations to better understand why rocks are found in peculiar positions. I'm curious, where do you get your information?

Hummmm...400 ft long. Two of every creature on earth? Besides being well known to biologists that only two of each species could not continue the breed....how did the strange creatures from Australia make it all the to Iran in time to make the voyage. There are so many problems with this story one does not know where to begin. Two of every insect....bird? come on now, two of each of those species alone won't fit on a 40 cubit by 40 cubit structure. There actually was a time on earth when there were no polar ice caps and still land existed...so where did all the extra water come from and where did it go....for the earth is finite and the amount of moisture on earth is the amount of moisture on earth. Why can't we just except it on faith, because proof will never be found....at least not proof that can stand up to any level of scrutiny. Just except it for what it is and move on....it appears not to prove a thing. Whatever...sorry

If we weren't talking about a great and infinite God who created the earth and everything in it in 6 days. When your heart knows how great a God we serve, then you will know that He can do the unimagineable and the "impossible." God bless.

Noah's Ark This for the Skeptics
Posted On: 01/22/08 10:08:00 PM Age 53, OR
I just recently seen a special about Noah's Ark on the History Channel. The narrator tried to make the point that ancient ship builders, couldn't have constructed such a huge vessel-it would have broken in half. Please read the excerpt from Fauchet's Bible Dictionary. Ptolemy Philopator lived 200 years before Christ, and his war galley was only 30 feet shorter than Naoh's Ark. "The largest on record was Ptolemy Philopator's war galley, 420 ft. long by 57 ft. broad, under 5,000 tons."

arch

Dear readers: First a prosperous and blessed 2008 for all. Well, Noahs Arch. The Bible says some things very clearly, en also does NOT say some things. What it says is, translated out of Hebrew text: The arch was stuck IN/between the mountains (plural) of Ur Artu. What is does NOT say is ,,On the mount Ararat". Furthermore: IF it was on the Ararat, it would have been found already long ago. For over 40 years this story is a kind of ,,The monster of Log Ness". Over twenty years ago I contacted the leaders of those ,,Ararat-expeditions" and told them it is NOT ON the Ararat, 5000 meters sky-high. How all those animals and people should come down from it??? Rolling down five kilometers??? I accidently (?) happened to come in touch with a man here in the Netherlands, who found the place of the arch. It is somewhat further then Ararat. He had photos of an ancient pillar, between rock formations, with the writing in ancient Greek: ,,Here Noah(s) arch stranded". In a landscape totally unaccessible, because of hughe holes and rocks, the arch is buried under a layer of volcanic ashes. I got a message back of the leader of all those expeditions. In his letter he was rather angry I dared to doubt ,,The evident truth the arch was ON the Ararat", ,,We are planning a new expedition, costing three million U.S. Dollars" etc. etc. He was not able to reason it out in a normal way as a grown up. Pity. So: I called the finder here, and told him what the leader wrote. His answer: ,,Gerard, let it be. They are stuck in their own ideas, and will never listen. The Arch will be found ON GOD`S TIME". And so it is. Greetings from Gerard, Netherlands.

You can stop searching for Noah's Ark. I have been following the search for Noah's Ark for about 40 years. The Ark is in pieces, near the eastern summit of Mt. Ararat. On our website www.mexicobeachcwc.com there are pictures of two of the pieces of Noah's Ark. Follow the links. We know the precise location of one of them, and an approximate location of the other, which is about 1000 ft. below the first. There are two other major pieces that we are aware of. One is higher up on the eastern summit of Ararat, but so far the photos are very blurry and cannot be enhanced. There is another photo that appears to be a smaller piece of the Ark somewhere in Ahora Gorge. This information is not a guess. We are sure. If you don't believe it, be our guest. Prove us wrong! Prove us wrong? How about you prove your claims are true first! I believe Gods word. I believe in Noah's ark. But I certainly am skeptical of some blurred photos on Mt ararat where everyone and thier Mother have looked for the famous ark. At your age, you think you would be a little wiser, especially since you've been following the search for 40 years..

    1. Latest on Noah's Ark
      Posted On: 11/21/08 07:36:02 PMAge 68, FL
A recent expedition has confirmed what I have been hearing for a number of years. According to the searchers the Turks blew up one of the Ark pieces to try and stop all the " religious people " from climbing the mountain and getting into trouble. At one of the Ark piece locations, there was evidence of an explosion and a large shell casing was found. Now all you doubters can get away with denying the existence of the Ark pieces. But, we have the photos, one taken in 1972 or 1973 and the other taken in 1989 on our website at www.mexicobeachcwc.com. You think the photos are grainy? They're a lot better than yours!

It's exciting to see more evidence of the Bible to be proven to the world, as the world is falling lower all the time. It will help to awaken a few unbelievers to turn their lives over to the Lord, and get more serious studying the Bible for what it is trying to tell everyone. Praise God!!! Bill

This is exciting! I have enjoyed reading about the ongoing searches over the years, and I hope more of this possible ark site can be seen in the future! Sad to think people will spend so much time debating everything related to this topic. The truth is that God himself says in Romans 1 that "God's wrath is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who SUPPRESS the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is PLAIN to them, because GOD HAS MADE IT PLAIN TO THEM.(!) For since the CREATION of the world, God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been CLEARLY SEEN, being UNDERSTOOD from WHAT HAS BEEN MADE, so that MEN ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE(!!!) For although they KNEW GOD, they neither glorifyied him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools...They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator who is forever praised. Amen." God says EVERYONE knows He exists and that He IS the Creator, because He has made it crystal clear. He communicated His truth, and when He gave it, it wasn't vaguely mingled somewhere with a passel of lies in the Bible, otherwise we couldn't know it! It's not vague, confusing, debatable; God said it has been CLEARLY stated! People are guilty of suppressing the clearly stated truth, not because they don't believe it, but because they don't want to. And God has given them over to stupid thinking. It doesn't matter what philosophical angle people choose to take or what scientist they choose to worship, God has the final say, and like it or not, we will all face Him to give an account for what we have CHOSEN to do with the TRUTH He has clearly revealed through his inerrant Word(2Peter 1:20; 2Timothy 3:16,17). Anything that doesn't agree with Scripture is simply a choice to deny the truth that they know in their heart of hearts is true. This isn't my opinion, it is what God has said. All men KNOW the truth! There WAS an ark and a worldwide flood. It would be so amazing if this turned out to be THE ARK!!

One look at the pictures, This IS Noahs Ark! The unbeleviers will never be convinced, the "scientists" will never have their paradigm shattered, the Goverments will not let their control be threatend and Iran will never let this site be excavated. How sad for the world that this story will probably never.....WAIT..... I wonder....Jesus hasn't weighed in on this yet. I probably havn't a clue as to what I just stated. Congradulations Dr. Bob Cornuke and team. I posting this to a few forums to help spread the news. Best regards ....Robert T.
