I have read many of your articles and you seem extremely sincere and I do believe you present a forum for a Godly conversation. It is shameful that someone would accuse you of doing your ministry for the money.You wrote, "If we were in it for the money then we too would be scratching itching ears as do Foster, Rick Warren, Brian McLaren and Joel Osteen. Any chance those guys are making a buck or two?
Are you suggesting these guys are in it just for the money? I don't know that they are but should you suggest they are? Do you have some sort of evidence or believe that because they sell books and conferences they are in it for the money. If that is all you have, then you need to add John Piper, David Jeremiah, and Howard Hendricks to the mix.

saying they are in ministry "just" for the money. I simply say that if someone was in ministry for the money it would more likely be they than I. Then you ask: "Do you have some sort of evidence or believe that because they sell books and conferences they are in it for the money." Again, I cannot judge their motives, nor do I; but that said, the message they "preach" is not sound Biblically, which it a much easier "sell" as it were. I hope this helps. Ken Silva

Thank you for the articles about the Emerging/Emergant church. This movement to me is nothing short of Apostasy that the Bible warns of would happen in the Last Days. Thank you CWN for willing to stand up to this deception. The Emerging Church is growing rapidly many people are falling for this hook, line, and sinker. All I can say is Maranatha!

I get short devotionals via e-mail through CQOD(Christian Quotation of the Day)in the mornings. Evelyn Underhill is one of the writers of them. I have been very empressed with her writings. I wanted to buy a book she wrote but didn't get around to it. I thought I was very discerning as to what is real truth and is not. You see, I consider myself to be more than conservative. It just goes to show that you can't believe everything someone writes just because they're connected to something you trust to bring you the truth. That's the problem, we're trusting in man, not God.

Thanks for the informative article by Ken Silva. Please keep the truth coming. Christians need this kind of information. I would like to point out that while Ken rightly exposes Tony Campolo's association with the contemplative movement, your associate, Sean McDowell, quotes Campolo approvingly in his otherwise very good article, "Equipping Kids with a Biblical Worldview". This sends a mixed signal and gives Campolo a legitmacy he may not deserve. Maybe you could inform Sean of the problems with Campolo that he may not be aware of. God bless.
