Warren claims on page 295 of PDC that it is a theological fact that God chooses to reveal himself to man according to our needs and that both OT & NT are filled with examples as evident in the many names of God. This would make preaching to people's need a logical place to start to connect them with the truth of the Word. It would seem that many times he mentions "the truth of God's Word." Am I missing something here? Are you saying that God has not used this man's ministry to bring souls into the Kingdom?

I have personally read Pastor DeWaay's book and bought several copies to pass on to others. My church had just finished a 40 Day of Purpose program and most of those that have read the book that I gave them from Pastor DeWaay, have been quite amazed at the insight and the pure discernment that is brought out in the book. They aked why does not our church leaders see problems of this ideology? I can only think of three reasons. One , they have accepted the movement on the sole point that it sounds good. Two, they are just not discerning leaders and can not see it. They can not truly read the signs of the times and three, {and this is the one I hope is not the majority case}; they only care about growth and the means of achieving it.They are self motivated to success, whether that be in the secular world or in the realm of the church. They see no harm in using the "powers of the world" the Baals, to achieve the intended target , which is growth. Clean Baal up a little and we can use him. Hasn't God redeemed all? We are not under law. These are some of the rationales I have heard.
Great article and I recommed Pastor DeWaays book whole-heartedly. God always reserves a remenant for Himself.

Absolutely true.
Mr. Dewaay is a watchman on the wall sounding the trumpet clearly.
God bless him.
