I am sure that most people would prefer to have a peaceful existence in their home towns, states, and even their country. The idea of the United Nations plays on that desire, but the United Nations has ulterior motives, and has had them from its conception. Control, not peace, has been the primary objective of the UN. Some sort of security is proffered by the UN which makes it palatable to many who are ignorant to the fact that such security is unobtainable except maybe through tyrannical leadership. The ultimate goal of this leadership is render most of humanity to feudal serfdom. Their communistic and socialistic programs may look good at first glance, but their implementation will be by fascist thugs. George Cancilla
