WAS SATAN IN THE GARDEN
Posted On: 03/17/09 09:15:44 PM Age 65, OH
Thanks Ray. You say, "In the beginning, God created man perfect, and he lived in a perfect world without suffering. It was heaven on earth. When sin came into the world, death and misery came with it." WOW heaven on earth, how could it be heaven on earth when Satan was there. 1st- was man the first sinner or did Satan sin before man did. Adam committed the original sin of man but sin had already been chosen by Satan and he was cast to the earth, wasn't he. 2nd- Does not the Holy Scripture say only God is perfect. Can perfection fail. If perfection can fail, does that mean that God can fail. 3rd If perfection can not fail, then how did Adam fail and commit sin. It seems that Adam was NOT perfect but Adam was INNOCENT. Adam was innocent which means he had not sinned yet. But Eve then Adam chose to obey Satan instead of God. They were no longer innocent. But when they obeyed Satan they made Satan their master instead of God. Satan is the one who brought death and sin. 4th- You say their was no death before man sinned. Are you saying that Satan has life. But Jesus says He is Life. Are you saying that Satan had Jesus or was Satan DEAD to the Spirit. Also if there was no death, then why did God put the tree of life in the garden. Would it not be useless in a place where there was no death. In fact after Eve chose to trust Satan instead of God, and ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, the tree of life was a great danger to man. God had to get Adam and Eve out of the garden and away from the tree of life or they would be lost from God forever. They would have natural life forever, if they ate of the tree of life, and not need God. But they would be spiritually dead forever and lost from God. They would have been like Satan. Satan does not die like men, but he is dead in the spirit. Satan is lost from God forever. God had to get Adam away from the tree of life before he ate of it also and be lost from God forever. - Did not God say, the day you eat of it, you will surely die. But Adam did NOT die a physical death the day he ate of the tree. He went on to live 930 years. - Is it natural death that came from eating the of the tree. If is was, then why when we are born again of the spirit, do we still die. We have been redeemed from sin but we still die a natural death. The redemption of sin does not save us from natural death, but it does save us from spiritual death. If this is so, then sin did not bring natural death but spiritual death. - Think about this, the animals did NOT eat of the tree, but they all die. Does God punish the innocent for the sin of the guilty. Did not the animals always live and then die, like they do today. - Look in the Book and see that God says,"Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds." The earth produced plants and they brought forth seeds that brought forth plants AFTER THEIR KIND. So we have the same KIND of plants today. Did not Jesus say a seed must be cast to the earth and die to bring forth life. The plants brought forth seeds and then died just like they do today. God told Adam the day you eat of it you will surely DIE. How would Adam know of death if there had never been death. Would it not be unfair to make Adam responsible for something he knew nothing of. There are many more arguments but not much space left. Do not believe the traditions of men but seek God for answers and believe Him. Grace and peace to you. - Lou Newton

  1. BEING BORN AGAIN BRINGS REAL LIFE
    Posted On: 03/18/09 05:10:11 PMAge 65, OH
Ray, As I read my own post today I seen that I could make it even more clear. If NATURAL death is the wages of sin then the remedy for sin should bring natural life. But the blood of Jesus which is the remedy for sin does not bring NATURAL life but it brings SPIRITUAL life. Man had spiritual life when God breathed the breath of life into man, but when man sinned it brought true death which is spiritual death. Natural death is not real death for our spirit still lives on. Has not Jesus given those who trust in Him to save them real life. But we still die in the body do we not. - Lou Newton
