Thank you, Dr. Jones

Thank you Dr. Jones for having the courage and the tenacity to expose this apostasy. There are so many Christian leaders who don't have the guts to call a spade a spade; then stand up for the truth and warn the flock with the heart of a shepherd. I am continually amazed at the cowardice and unfaithfulness shown by so many Christian teachers and pastors. It would be more intellectually and morally honest for them to discard their Christian faith and adopt whatever pagan system of beliefs tickles their ears the most effectively. At least then they wouldn't bear the responsibility of deceiving so many and taking them down the wide path that leads to destruction.

The road is narrow, Jesus came with a sword to divide, and in the last days even the members of our household will be our enemies, and everyone who says they are of Israel are not of Israel was spoken by the Holy Spirit as truth and prophesy, and now it is coming to pass. The truth of who we hold as supreme in our hearts will be manifest as these pagan idolatries enter are presented as an offering to God. We, as believers cannot drink the cup of demons, and the cup of the Lord. If we haven't chosen yet, we will have to. If we choose to follow Him and His truths, we will have to come out from among them or we will share in it's plagues.

The inability of the Christians to come together on even their most basic of "beliefs" speaks volumes about the veracity of the whole thing. It is obvious that your gods are only figments which differ wildly from person to person.
What is so sad is the fact that despite the "diversity" of opinion, so many of you have the unmitigated gall and insufferable arrogance to think you have it all down just right and have the right to tell the rest of us that we can't perform stem cell research, provide a gentle death for those suffering excruciating terminal pain, to require even a ten year old rape victim to endure a painful and dangerous pregnancy and birthing, and on and on.
Your blind "faith" that you're going to heaven despite you cruelty to your fellow man is simply appalling.

- Show me some feeling
| Posted On: 03/04/09 12:08:36 PM | | Age 48, MO | Friend: You don't make sense. Your subjective reasoning sounds all loving of the plight of others, but you fail to see the consequences of your love. Where do the cells for stem cell research come from? Has the research produced anything of value, I mean other than an additional revenue source for abortion providers? Gentle death? I hear a carefully placed bullet is painless; but why should we sanction it, so that there is no mess to clean up? You seem to be compassionate toward the ten year old's painful birthing but fail to consider the painful abortion of the unborn, the rape the 10 year old endured, the eternal consequences for murder, or the protection of the rapist the abortion provides. Talk about human cruelty, are you really 84 years old? John Click here to reply to this post

Dear Mr. Jones,
Evangelism hasn't been highjacked. This is just another sign of the times. The Church as we once knew it no longer exists. These men have been seduced. Satan has brought his plan into play perfectly. While men slept the enemy crept in and sowed his seeds. All we are seeing is the Church reaping what the enemy has sown. And why is it so Mr. Jones? The Church has no discernment what so ever. Why? Because we don't pray. I mean really pray. The prayer meeting is the cinderella of the Church. Paul wrote that we would not endure sound doctrine, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. Just a sign of the times. The devil has everyone running around trying new programs, lousy music, ineffective preaching. I haven't heard anyone preach on hell in the last 10 years. When was the last time you heard someone preach on the blood of Jesus. As Paul said "who hath bewitched us Mr. Jones?
God Bless

There is so much out there that is "strange" one must be ever alert and constantly pray for wisdom & discernment. As a Christian of 20+ years and not having been brought up without any Biblical knowledge it is SCARY. I pray daily the Lord keep me on His path, and hit my upside the head good and hard, if I stray from is teachings. Please pray for me. Thanks

- JESUS IS ABLE TO SAVE
| Posted On: 03/03/09 09:26:07 PM | | Age 65, OH | Dear Kim, If you just keep trusting Jesus to save you He will surely do it. We must keep looking for truth at our best effort, but no person can keep themselves. Jesus is able and willing to keep you in His hand. I prayed for you tonight. Peter: It's about love man!! What's Jesus got to do with it? I hear Pastors all the time talking about the love of Jesus, and then explain it as servitude. They never once talk about the cross or the blood!!!!!! (It angers me when I think about it) Truly, the love of Jesus is the cross and love is never defined properly without the context of Jesus, is holiness and sinless life. John

Sadly this is the way the times are going. The true follower of Christ will eagerly seek discernment regarding the times in which we live. The true Chrisian will be pushed to come out and be separate as stated in scripture - how can it be otherwise? Oil does not mix with water and I believe with all my heart that one day in the near future we Christians will be at a crossroad - times are dictating the push forward - either to cling to Christ or fall by the wayside in the sea of deception. Jesus did not promise freedom from persecution. He, til now, has blessed this country with an amazing abundance; but how many of us truly know and believe we are held accountable to Him for those blessings?

Peter, thanks for the article; very good job. It is sad indeed the state of the church in our nation and the rest of the world. The person who possesses Christ possesses everything there is to possess and lacks not one thing. The person without Jesus Christ has nothing. Jesus gives us His Holy Spirit when we gives our lives to Him and leave Him set on the throne of our life. We are not saved by following the law, even the law "that we should help the poor".
