I would love to debate all of this. As a long time memebr of AA (since 1989) my faith in Christ has only increased. The 12 steps of AA are a powerful tool for christ in the right hands. I would ask that each of you read the Big BOok of AA then lets debate

America in Trouble
Posted On: 01/26/09 02:39:07 PM Age 45, OR
I never entertained the idea that a US President would invite a open, homosexual, priest to pray over our country, along side himself. I am so proud of you for speaking God's sorrow in America's choice to replace HIM so quickly. God, please forgive our country and her leaders. Please help us to get back to You. John, Thank you for being led by the Spirit of the ONE and ONLY, TRUE GOD.

  1. Not even "Christ-centered" 12 Steps
    Posted On: 01/27/09 12:48:26 PMAge 55, OR
Thank you for your prayers. This has been a deceitful thing from the beginning. The 12 Steps were given to A.A. cofounder Bill Wilson by a demon, and Christ was never mentioned in the Steps. But it is difficult, because thousands of well meaning Christians have inserted "Christ" into Step #3 and believe this is blessed of God. May the Lord completely separate His people from Celebrate Recovery, and other 12 Step groups. It is interesting that both Rick Warren, and apostate Gene Robinson, who delivered the inaugural invocations, are both connected to the 12 Steps. Warren and John Baker founded Celebrate Recovery, undoubtedly with the best of intentions.

A demon? Carl Jung, and the Oxford group historically, which one was a demon? Don't you think a demon would want people to keep drinking?

Faith-based alternative to AA

I completely agree with your article. I believe AA represents "a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof". You mentioned the setting captives free website and I just wanted to call your attention to another faith-based addictions program called Reformers Unanimous. The website is www.reformu.com.

  1. Sanctify us

I will gladly continue to check out this website and ministry. Believers need to understand the Lord has answers, answers that are not connected to the 12 Steps. Some are in such bondage to the 12 Steps religion that they are unable or unwilling to leave, even after discovering how anti-Biblical the Steps are in origin. So many saved and sincere Christians are in Christ-centered 12 Step groups. No doubt about it. But, now, it is time to heed Him, and come out and be separate.
