Most of Natural Evil is Required for Life to Exist

Atheists complain that evil shows that God does not exist. Christians tend to blame evil on the Fall or sin. However, there is a great deal of "natural evil" that is not the result of sin, but is a natural consequence of the laws of physics and the way God designed the universe. In fact, many of the things that we consider to be good, also can cause pain and suffering. Everyone knows that rain is good, and is required for life to exist on earth. However, too much rain can result in flooding (especially in flat areas). Increasing the slope of the land will reduce flooding and create beautiful mountains, but will also increase the probability of landslides. There will always be trade offs in a creation designed to be temporary and built upon thermodynamics. Fortunately, the New Creation will not depend upon such laws of physics.

Dear friend, Tribulation is NOT evil. We mere men tend to think anything that causes us trouble or pain to be evil. But The Cross of Christ was the cause of great pain but was not evil but good. Men meant the cross of Christ for evil but God caused good to come from it for all those that would trust in the blood of Jesus Christ. God planned to die for us before the foundations of the world. He always planned to do this for us so that we would know that he loved us. To show us further mercy God has allowed us to carry our cross daily to show our love for Him to ourselves and the world. None of us deserve to be able to carry our cross as we are all weak and cowardly. But in His mercy Jesus gives us strength to be able to do His will IF we trust in Him. All tribulations either natural or spiritual can not be evil for anyone that is trusting in The Lord Jesus. For we are promised that everything happens for our good IF we are trusting and following Christ. That is also why we are told to walk in the Spirit. God can lead me by a dream to leave "Bethlehem" before the landslide or flood. But even if my body is killed in the flood, no real harm will come to me if I am trusting in The Lord Jesus. The problem is a simple matter of mere men not being able to tell good from evil. Lou Newton

Koala bears evil?

How can a shark be called evil? It kills to eat, just as a koala bear kills vegetation to eat. Is there a difference between a created animal and a created plant?
Man, through Adam and Eve, "created" evil in the Garden.

I have several firearms and some say these are evil designs. But I did not buy them for evil acts but to be able to do good. They give me the ability to defend the lives of my children. They also give me the ability to provide food of my family. They are designs for good purposes. But some say they are evil. Of course all guns come with a safety manual, but if a person does not bother to even read it, the manual can not help them. If they point the gun at their child and pull the trigger, it is not the gun that is evil but them. Sex comes with a safety manual called the Bible. if a person does not read or follow it, they can get aids. The problem is not with aids but sin. Foolish men want to blame the God who created them for all of their failings. But it is not God who has failed but them. BTW I have never heard of a man who was in his home and ate by a great white. If you can not stand the heat stay out of the kitchen. If you do not like sharks, stay out of the ocean. Most people on this earth have never been in a ocean. Lou Newton
