how sad

This is just so sad to see, a lost soul disguised as a leader of God's people. To us who know the Lord, it blatently obvious but to those who are in darkness, he leads them astray and not to salvation in Yeshua. You are right Steve, we need to pray for him because his judgement is going to be severe!

Honestly, is anyone surprised? This man left his wife and children for a homosexual relationship. I don't know the facts, but I'm willing to bet his homosexual relationship started long before he left her. This man is now misleading millions to believe that his selfish act is somehow blessed by God.
Luke 17:2
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin.

- HOMOSEXUALITY
| Posted On: 01/22/09 06:49:36 PM | | Age 84, CA | You should know that his homosexuality began while he was a fetus in his mother's womb. If, at a critical time, his developing brain is deprived of the proper hormones (or if improper hormones are added)it will develop with an "improper sexual orientation". And he is no more responsible for that orientation than he is for the color of his skin.
As Jesse Ventura once asked, How old were you when you made your decision to become a heterosexual?
Your arrogance is profound! Your confidence that you have it just right when you declare homosexuality to be a sin is appalling; do you think that children who curse their parents should be put to death? If not, why not?
Of course, the second most important commandment is not to love your neighbor, is it? Terminating the life of a human being (as YOU define that term), regardless of the pain, suffering and even deaths which will result if that life is not terminated is the overarching, controlling command, and next to that is sexual "sin". Loving, and having compassion for your fellow man is, it seems from reading your materials, way down the list.

- ALL MEN ARE BORN EVIL AND MUST BE BORN AGAIN
| Posted On: 01/24/09 10:50:13 AM | | Age 65, OH | Dear friend, do you not also scold God for the fact that He destroyed the four cities of the dead sea plain for their homosexual behavior. You claim to know the workings of the brain of an infant still in the womb. But certainly our Creator knows His creation does He not. Look at the behavior of the homosexuals in our nation. They have a parade or a fair and preform anal sex right in the public street. The majority in California voted to not allow homosexual marriage and the homosexuals threaten to kill those who disagreed with them. All men are born evil are they not. But being born evil is NO EXCUSE to do evil. Men are born thieves, but that does not excuse stealing. Some men are born with an extra male chromosome and are called supermales. Many of these supermales become serial killers. But that does not excuse their murder does it. Many supermales do not murder. The evil temptations that we are born with does not exuce us from sin. I was born a liar, thief, murderer, coward, and sexual pervert but I humbled myself and confessed my sins to the Creator of all. He forgave me and gave me strength to do His will. Men are born murders but who could excuse the butchering of a little child. Who could watch oral anal sex and not be sickened. How could any human call this act normal and not sick. If you think Christ came to be non-judgemental, tolerant, and to show the world how to love, you are sadly mistaken. Christ came that we may know love- God the Father- thru Christ. If your focus was Christ, you wouldn't think that homsexuality isn't sin just because you CHOOSE to believe it's genetic. The power of God transcends genetics but He won't transcend your choice. - Deception
| Posted On: 01/23/09 11:42:48 AM | | Age 26, TX | Though you are correct in loving your neighbor, no one is BORN with "improper sexual orientation". This is a deception the enemy has been using on scores of lost people. It is true that we should not hate anyone, but we show love as a true Believer would. However, it is written in God's Word, the promise stated that if you ever are to teach a child to do wrong in the eyes of God, this promise shall come to pass, not to the child, but to the teacher. No matter what anyone says, homosexuality is a sin. It's been declared one from the very beginning. No one is born with it like the color of their hair or skin. There is no proof to back up this claim of chemical imbalances. Perhaps Satan has deceived you as well. Click here to reply to this post

Looks like I'm in the clear. Because it seems ONLY white men can have "discrimination" at the rest of the world. Because obviously he thinks women, {like myself} people of color, gay, lesbian, bisexual, & transgender people, and refugees and immigrants are the only ones discriminated aginst. Clearly straight white men are the devil in his eyes. How dare he! How dare he be allowed to discriminate against my father and brother, uncles and friends. We are a proud people with morals and beliefs in the one true God and his Word.

- He Means You!
| Posted On: 01/21/09 04:00:17 PM | | Age 55, TN | Amen! Sister! I thought the same thing as I was reading his "prayer". It obviously seems to him that the only people not being discriminated against are white Anglo Saxon Protestant males and I think the opposite in many cases. WASP males are the ones being ridiculed, insulted, made fun of, stepped upon, etc. in the media today. I happen to have a wonderful WASP husband who is a godly man and I resent the implication also. I'll be praying for the bishop to find the true God. Click here to reply to this post

I believe the attitude I'm going to adopt is "wait and see". If he can walk the walk like he talks the talk, he will be a good President. It's going to be an uphill battle. It certainly looks like he's done a good job of seducing a lot of people.

The thing that struck me is that all the warnings, that all the writers of all these Christian articles, have come, or is coming to pass, now, before our eyes. Yesterday was proof and a taste of what's about to happen in America. God's word of prophecy is coming to pass daily. God help us to stand strong, to obey the law, to love others, and in that love, tell of Jesus and his love. I also thought Rick Warren represented us well. At least he gave all the glory to Jesus Christ, who changed his life. Brenda

- Rick Warren?!
| Posted On: 01/23/09 05:45:02 PM | | Age 28, FL | I can say this for my self that the last person i would choose to represent Christianity is Rick Warren, why you would ask well because he believes that you have to work for salvation meaning that you can lose it, when ephesians 2:8-9 clearly says that salvation is by GRACE AND NOT OF WORKS! he is not saved and he needs to trust CHRIST as hes only way to get to heaven! we need to pray for him also. And about this priest, he needs to remember that HOMOSEXUALITY WAS PUNISHABLE BY (DEATH)! off course that was in the old testament but homosexuality still a sin! NO one is born gay!we love the sinner but GOD hates the SIN! Click here to reply to this post
- uh, no, muddy waters
| Posted On: 01/22/09 10:50:39 PM | | Age 55, IN | No, Brenda..By saying, "...the one that changed my life", he was implying that Jesus is the one for him, but others may have another that is the one for them. He left this door open.
You won't find Rick Warren preaching the exclusivity of Jesus Christ.
I wonder if he ever repented himself, since he seems to not understand the God won't elect (save) us until we become broken. Click here to reply to this post

Prayed for the Lord to bless the idols they placed in the Temple? We know how that ended. We have gone from one opostasy to another. From neocon pastors asking the Lord to bless the bombs we are dropping on "Those evil Mulims" to this one who asks his desire of the flesh to be blessed.

- Not in Jesus name
| Posted On: 01/21/09 10:50:02 AM | | Age 49, WI | He could not pray in Jesus name. He was praying to the god (gods) of many understandings. That automatically excludes the possibility of praying to the one (very exclusive) true (that would be intolerant) God. Christ did say that he is the way, the truth and the life. A very exclusive, but absolutely true statement. Click here to reply to this post
