What are we doing?!

George Bush is an honorable man. He, with God's help, kept this nation safe from terrorist for nearly 8 years. He is not a perfect person, neither is Pres. Obama. But he went to bed every night and woke up every morning knowing that there were evil people in the world that would continue to try and KILL us, he made sure they didn't succeed. He is a praying man who felt the prayers of the people and that gave him strength to carry on (he said this in an interview before leaving office). And, yes, there are things he would have differently. God raises up and brings down leaders, the Bible says. We have elected an overtly pro-abortion, pro-gay agenda, anti-christian (he does not believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to God), Marxist with an ego the size of Chicago and lacking the grace of a statesman to avoid pettiness and name calling. In his first week he told Republicans that, "if they want to get along with his administration, they needed to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh", and when a Republican Congressman questioned his bail-out policy, Obama told him, "I won. I trump you with that!" How incredibly immature and unprofessional is that? He was elected, not crowned. He didn't tell his supporters to stop booing the President or Vice-President. Not only is he arrogant and rude, he lacks class. He is, in my assessment, dangerous. It is unfortunate that he had to be our first black president. I pray that God will not only forgive my own sins, but the sins of this nation...for all the ways in which we have spit in His eye, slapped His face and nailed Him back up on the cross!

US claims to be a Christian nation
Posted On: 01/19/09 01:03:39 PM Age 50, NV
How can US claim to be "Christian" when most US Presidents worship the Masonic order, have their own bible, swear their "oath" of allegiance to the US on the Masonic Bible, but also swear allegiance to the Masonic Order? Doesn't make any sense. Besides, how many Bibles can there be. Let's see: Masonic Bible Lincoln Bible King James Bible Catholic Bible Mormon Bible The list goes on & on & on. If there is only "ONE" truth, then why so many variations of the truth? Why so many "sects" of Christianity? I'll bet that God wouldn't even recognize any of these Bibles because they have all been rewritten to reflect lies that do not exist & did not come from GOD. If US is so Christian, then why is the entire area of Washington DC built on Masonic principles....not Christian principles? I think most of you out there are not truly Christians, but supporters of the Masonic faith because that's what we've been led to believe is true....33 degree Masons are called "Worshipful Masters" and they have lodges (temples) all over U.S. right under our noses, yet nobody questions their secret meetings, secret language, secret handshakes, secret rituals, etc., yet we all claim we're Christian. What a big fat lying joke. In fact, the masses worship men who are no better than the next guy.

Open Homosexuality

Open homosexuality and the acceptance of it shows that we are a nation already in judgement.I do not believe ther is any accounts in the Bible where once a nation goes down this road they ever come back.I believe what is left for Chistians to do now is pray that we will persevere through the persecution that is on its way.Let our Lord Jesus be glorified in our lives. NATION IS GUILTY
Posted On: 01/16/09 01:13:47 PM Age 65, OH
George Washington said this at his inauguration in 1789; [T]"he propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained…” Now the people have elected a man to represent them that made no secret of his disdain for the Bible and for the Lord Jesus Christ. This man that the people have elected has chosen a man to represent the people to God who thinks this way; "Bishop Robinson said he had been reading inaugural prayers through history and was "horrified" at how "specifically and aggressively Christian they were." He states, "I am very clear that this will not be a Christian prayer, and I won't be quoting Scripture. The texts I hold as sacred are not sacred texts for all Americans, and I want all people to feel that this is their prayer." - God blessed this nation because they elected men such as Washington. Now this nation will be judged by God for electing this man. This nation is responsible for the actions of Obama and will pay the consequences. Lou Newton

With your gospel of bombs & bullets calling upon America to bomb the world into submission. With youyr false prophet assurances tellin Isreal they are Gods people and thus, can do no wrong and have a blank check to kill the Arabs and take not only the West bank & Gaza, but all the land which includes Lebanan, Jordan, and part of Syria. With your declaration that Capitalism is Gods way. If anything, You false teachers brought us to this and now The election of Abama is more than likely the fulfillment of Romans 1: 18-36.

We needed to look out 8 years ago
Posted On: 01/15/09 01:55:57 PM Age 51, MN
While your conclusions about Robinson may be correct I wonder about your tying it to America’s future. 8 years ago Christian Evangelicals elected their man, rejoiced in the election of this Godly man who would bring Godly leadership to our country. The voted in bloc and never looked back. The result of these past 8 years has been disasterous for our country on almost every level - internally and internationally. We are reaping the result of completely inept leadership. So what was the reason for this? Would you be so quick to say the things you do here about the Bush presidency - especially 3-4 years ago when no one was questioning him and his ill fated decisions. It’s easy to jump on this and say we better look out - but it’s hard to believe it could be worse than the last 8 years

  1. GEORGE BUSH IS NOT THE PROBLEM
    Posted On: 01/16/09 01:01:13 PMAge 65, OH
George Bush is not the problem, dear friend. The problem is that the church has stopped preaching the truth and so the people have stopped trusting in the Lord Jesus and nothing but the Lord Jesus. God Himself says,"14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." - The fault lies with people who call themselves Christian. Treading on thin ice
Posted On: 01/15/09 01:53:59 PM Age 62, MO
"To many in this great nation have told God to take a hike." This is sad but true. I believe it may even be worse than that: a defiance that God can do nothing about evil behavior. "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall He prolong his days which are as a shadow; because he fears not before God." (Ecclesiastes 8:11, 13). Many in governmental high places are probably thumbing their noses up at God, laughing and saying, "We have lied, stolen, murdered, and blasphemed God, and He has done nothing to stop us." What foolishness to tempt the living God, Who has the power to place us in eternal torment, if we do not repent. Iniquity abounds everywhere around us. Now, more than ever, is the time to "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6). George Cancilla
