I think since I have heard , read and studied prophecy I think you are right. The fact that so many have lost common sense and reading the scripture literaly has made them miss it..we cannot dismiss any one word or we loose the theme of prophecy. The church also has replaced the words Israel and Jerusalem an put the word church in it..Therefore have a wrong reading of it. The old t interpets the new, the new is concealed in the old T and what was will be as there is nothing new under the sun. Too many so called new bibles have put in and changed the word that G-d forbids, even Hebrew words have different meanings in these new bibles. Anyone who cannot see the connection with Islam and Catholic is not listening to the Vatican or the POPE. John Paul said, we serve the same god as the muslims..he said when I die I will go to purgatory for some sins and then onto heavn and stand at the right hand side of the Father,,pray to me ! Putting himself in our Saviors place..They have masses for little sins , big masses for big sins even tho G-d told us sin was sin and HE is not up there messering it. To bow and call anyone Father but him is idolatry. They either bow to the pope to Mary and others they call saints. they have the other Jesus that Paul preached on. they also have the paganism and traditions of men set up by Constatine and the Catholic church..but G-d gave us Passover, and all Holy Days and HE walked in them and said the Sabbath would never change..with all the beauty that HE gave us why would they do just the opposite? And I see the hate for Israel, and the churches that don't hate Her but don't have a attitude one way or the other , Genesis 12:3 says even the silent ones are cursed. HE also said we owe them a debt and to bless them and not to is not to be blessed. Replace them is a joke. Anyone who is saved, black, white, red or yellow is the Chruch including Jews..at the same time HE tells us He will punish them but never forget them. If the church would read the bible for themselves they would see !! Isiah is a good one for that and also the Psalms where IF they put Zion, Jews, Israel, Jerusalem in where it is..and not put in church they would SEE..but they will only listen to men instead of G-d. He tells us in Romans that if HE would Punish them in tribulation , how much more the church who knew. maybe everyone should only care what HIS Word means and says instead of all the experts. Islam is just the flavor of the day. Scripture makes clear that anti- Christ is self. The AntiChrist could be any pompus, non-religious politician that we have running around today. One thing is for certain, he won't be revealed until God is good and ready. God is ALWAYS sovereign and nothing happens without his control which is why BO bama is the first black president instead of JJ ackson. John

Much more important than the antichrist is the coming of Christ. Israel was full of Pharisees, scribes, and scholars that studied the Holy Scriptures hoping to know when and where The Christ would appear. It was good to study The Holy Scriptures and some kings from the east had also done so. These kings did not know from the scriptures alone when or where The Christ would appear. But The Almighty who knew their heart did reveal to them by a star that could be seen by all of the earth, that their Christ had come and led them to Him. Most did not even notice this star, but it was there for all to see. These kings appeared in Jerusalem that was only 4 miles from the house where Jesus was living and inquired about The Christ. These scholars of the Holy Scriptures knew that The Christ would be born in Bethlehem. But how many of these men went to Bethlehem with these three kings. I know of not one that went along to worship Jesus. But the three kings all went in search of The Christ and fell at His feet and worshiped Him in the house that He was staying. These three kings knew the Author of the Holy Scriptures and not just the Scriptures; so they recognized their King when they seen Him. All the other scholars did not profit from their study of The Scriptures, for they knew of the scriptures, but did not know The Author. There is much more written about the coming of The Christ than there is of the antichrist. Yet how many recognized Him when He appeared. God had to call three kings from a far off land to pay Honor to Him. There where two who knew Him in the temple; but no one paid any attention to these two. They were of no account in the eyes of men. But in the eyes of God they were mentioned by name for all eternity. The name and words of Simeon and Anna are well known by many even 2000 years later. But the names of all the scholars of the Holy Scriptures who did not recognize The Lord when He appeared are lost and they are not known. So the question is not do you know The Scriptures but do you know the One who wrote The Holy Scriptures. Do you recognize Him when He speaks or acts. Will you be ready to meet Him when He appears in the sky as he returns. Lou Newton

KNOWING CHRIST KEEPS ONE FROM THE ANTICHRIST

If one desires to hang onto their money, it is good to know that there is such a thing as counterfeit money. However, a person who makes a focus on studying the false money, does not keep himself from being fooled by false money. No matter how many types of false money the person studies, someone can always make another type of false money. The different ways false money can be made is endless. If one wants to keep from being fooled and taking false money for genuine money; he needs to study and know what genuine money looks like. No matter what new type of false money someone comes up with; the person can know that it is NOT genuine money. The same is true of The One and Only Lord Jesus Christ. To study antichrists does not keep anyone from being fooled by one. It is good to know that antichrists exist and watch out for them. But to keep from being fooled by them, one needs to come to know The One True Lord Jesus who is The Christ. If one knows The Christ and walks and talks with Him every day; he will know that anyone else who claims to be Him is NOT. Lou Newton
