More Than "A Huge Letdown" -- A Rank Betrayal!

This revelation that Pres. Bush does not really understand the Bible and is not truly a Bible-believing Christian, but more likely, a quasi-New Ager, is more than just merely "a huge let down" for Christians.
Christians were sold a HUGE BILL OF GOODS by the Republican Party in 2000, when George W. Bush was carefully and deliberately depicted as a "Bible-believing Christian" who faithfully read his Bible every night. Remember? Or have all our memories become shortened to the length of a thirty-second sound bite?
The selling of George W. Bush to both nominal and true Christian believers in 2000 will go down as one of the biggest snow-jobs of all time.
To find out now, EIGHT YEARS LATER, that the sell-job was a pack of lies, is more than just a "letdown" -- it is a rank betrayal of Christians by the leadership of the cynical, morally bankrupt Republican Party!
The sooner more Christians see this fakery for what it is, and leave the Republican Party, the better.

Pretty scenic Nazi-ville. Mere hundreds of yards from the camps. Yet it was rarely spoken of or against. There were about 20,000 camps all told.
How many of you that consider yourselves Christian still support the humanist/socialist school system, still allow its wicked offspring, the media, into your home - unabridged?
How many allow their ears to be tickled by pastors each Sunday (or whenever) yet on Monday support the moral decay around them in assumed innocence?
How many support what they KNOW they should not?
ANSWER: way too many, else we would not have such a moral morass of turpitude. It is all to easy to throw up holy hands in mock dismay, yet who will stand up in their 'church' and publicly state the Truth? Are we a nation of pew warmers? Where is the BITE of the Gospel that compells us to Truth? If you feel warm and fuzzy after a sermon, is that a sign of growth? I think not. PGW

It is sad to see so many Christians that don't believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God.
The even worse part is some statistics I read.
(of Christians)
Less than 2% are involved in the ministry of evangelism. 95% of all Christians have never won a soul to Christ.
Even worse then that:
From High School Grad. to age 25 there is a 42% drop in church attendance. (weekly) and a 58% decline from age 18-29
But worst of all (and the most sad statistic)
79% of adults in the U.S think Christianity is more about organized religion then about oving God and loving people.

THE LORD JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY JUDGE

I never did think George Bush was presidential material, but I still voted for him. But you say, "President Bush’s answer was a huge let down for true Christians". - The implication here is that George Bush is NOT a TRUE Christian. To imply such a thing is not according to the commands of The Lord Jesus Christ. We can certainly have an opinion that George Bush is ignorant of much of the truth. But when we judge the eternal soul of others we are committing a terrible error and sin. There is One and Only One Judge of the souls of men, and that is The Lord Jesus. To imply that another man is NOT a TRUE Christian is imply that oneself is The Lord Jesus Christ Himself. For Jesus is the Only Judge. I encourage you to lead by example, and repent of your error. If you make no public retraction, then you teach, by your example, that we do not have to repent of our sins. There is only one qualification to being a Christian; and that is to trust Jesus to save you. You do not even have to know that The Bible exists. While GWB is yet ignorant of the Holy Scriptures, you are acting like The Lord Jesus Christ is NOT the Only Judge. GWB has sinned against the written record of the words of God. But you have sinned against The Word of God. The Holy Scriptures tells us that The Word of God is the Lord Jesus Christ and the Judge of the whole universe. Lou Newton

More proof of the truth of scripture.

When the word of God says that there will be a great falling away, and people will give themselves over to teachers that will tell them what they want to hear instead of the inerrant truth of scripture. These are just a few examples of this. George Bush is theologically ignorant, biblically inept just like a majority of supposed Christians today. Brian McLaren, Tony Campolo etc... the list goes on and on. All are enemies to the one true God. Jesus Christ. If you will know them by their fruit, their fruit is rotten to the core. Defending what is called an abomination to God in scripture is just an example of these horrible teachers trying to lead the Body of Christ straight into the ditch. I do not believe it matters if it because of ignorance to the Word (No way). Or done on purpose as enemies of God. The result is the same. These attacks on the Bible will continue to get worse and worse by supposed believers. We have to defend the faith and the Word of God from within, and without. The risen Christ is coming soon and every knee shall bow. Come soon Lord Jesus!!!!

WEARY OF THE SEXUAL PERVERSION

Excellent article Marsha! I'm glad to see a woman of God stand up, and tell the truth! I'm sick to death of this homosexual community forcing their perversions down childrens throats, and telling them basically to "DO" these things that are an abomination in God's site! Schools have been "Sexualized", and now the teachers are having sex with the students! How absurd! Thank God I did not have to grow up in this sick society of Sodom that has reared it's ugly head. They all scream "Hate mongers! Homophobics! We will have our way with you! They are extremely sick, disoriented people, and will pay dearly when they stand before the Lord when they die! My heart goes out to the "CHILDREN" who look to adults to protect them, and keep them safe from these sexual predators that have one track minds! Their thoughts constantly revolve around the issue of sex! It is hard for them to even do their jobs, because they are constantly thinking about who they can seduce into having illicit sex with them. In the mens public restrooms, they write their smut, and draw obscene pictures, and leave their phone numbers so you will call them to have sex with them. I don't hate these people. I feel sorry for them, but I am very angry with them. I know that God came for them also, to save them from their sins against Him. I don't claim to be a better person than any of them. I have done more than my share of wrong things in my life. But I have an advocate who stands up for me, and defends me now before God the Father. His name is Jesus, and He lives, and gives me my every breath to breathe every moment of every day. Without Him, my life is meaningless. I hope that more homosexual people will come to the knowledge of Jesus, and the truths about their perverted lifestyles, and give all of it to Jesus. If nothing else, I would challenge any of them, even if they don't believe in God to say this one thing; "God, if you really are real, I ask you to reveal yourself to me, and show me if you really are there, and show me if my homosexuality is an abomination to you, and if it is, I ask you to change me into what you would have me to be." I don't think many would say these words, because they "Want" to be that way, and God will not force Himself on anyone.

Hi all. A lot of good stuff here Marcia, but the sad and undeniable fact is that most Christians today do not believe "The Bible" IS the inspired and inerrant words of God.
Sounds harsh or untrue? Want proof?
