GLORY BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS

There is a story with even more tragedy than this in the Holy Scriptures. Who had more tragedy in their life than Job? Job was blameless and upright, feared God and shunned evil and there was NONE like him on the earth, as God said Himself. Yet Job lost everything that was dear to him. He lost all of his wealth that God had blessed him with, and he was the greatest man in the east. But much worse than this Job lost his seven sons and three daughters in the same day; not to a fighter plane flown by men, but to the wind controlled by God. I have heard many preachers say that this all happened because Job had sinned in some way to cause this. But God Almighty said that this all happened to Job and Satan had "incited God to ruin Job without any reason". I choose to believe God instead of mere men. But God will have mercy and justice on all for eternity. God has gave all of Job's children mercy and justice, and what more can anyone hope for. But as for Job; the end for Job was this, Job said, "before I had heard of God but now I have seen you". All that happened to Job, in the end, God caused good to come to Job. For God Himself had come to Job, and what man could even hope for more than this. It was as Paul said in Romans 8: 28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.... Is not Job glorified even in the scriptures, was he not conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus by what happened. What greater thing could any man desire, than what God gave Job. I also testify, that in my life, I thought I would never be able to ever bear what happened to me. But I sit here today, and thank God for it all. For through all of these things, I had heard of Him, but now I have seen Him and talk to and walk with Him every day. What more could any man ask for. I can not talk to the president or even the governor of Ohio. But I talk to the Creator of the whole universe every day and He even seeks me out. But even more, Jesus is conforming me to His image, in spite of myself. What more glory could any man ask for. It is all FAR beyond my wildest dreams, and believe me I had some wild dreams.
