Our country has kept the same constitution since the 1700s and now would be the WORST time to change constitutions or even revise the one we have. But we do have to remember that God is sovereign and He knows everything that's going on. America is not beyond His control. This doen't mean that we just sit back and do nothing. We all need to be involved in our country.

I can NOT believe this! Conservative Christians, American Patriot Groups, and 912 Groups are the one's who proposed this convention! We knew what was coming long before Obama was elected and immediately began working 16 hour days for free to get this done so we can install provisions to protect the citizen's! You people are sabatoging our ONLY chance to stop this!! The legislature does NOT recognize citizen petitions! Sign all of them you want. Petitions are not valid. THIS is the only way.
The rampant ingnorance in this country is the reason we are in this place to begin with.

This strikes me as unbelievable! What is happening to our country? It’s like it has fallen apart overnight while we were sleeping! The Constitution of the United States of America was written two hundred years ago. It has served us well all these years and now is not the time to change it! Please leave well enough alone.

Hello duly elected Representative of American values;
The Constitution of the United States of America (USA) was written two hundred years ago. It is based on fundamental values of quality life for all persons of legal citizenship. If the USA is too survive, we cannot bow to every cultral whim that comes down the road.
The constitution is an historic document designed to preserve the values of morality, ethics and freedoms within a structure of accountability. The latest cultural whims will only undermine the quality of life built into the Constitution of the United States of America. Please do not allow your vote to support the undermining of honest, ethical, morally based fundamentals of government for each and every legal citizen of the USA.

This article came across my desk only today...Thursday afternoon...and I had no idea a con-con was even a possibility. I imagine this is how we got in the wall-street crisis as well. We've been going about complacently all these years, uneducated about what our government or those who worship the dollar and power in the world were capable of. They get away with this nonsense because of laws passed by people we elected! Most times tagged on to a bigger bill they are sure will go through, as in the wall-street bail out bill that was stuffed with other goodies that had nothing to do with this situation.
But remember what Joseph said to his brothers when he met them in Egypt...what they had meant for evil, God used to save many.
In these perilous times, we must pray fervently to our Lord Jesus, repenting of our ignorance and the sins we've committed as a nation, enabling government officials we elected to pass abortion (murder) and other actions that oppose the law of God as acceptable and protected behavior. This is a battle of principalities…and though Satan is defeated, he will not give up without a hailstorm of corruption, confusion and tyranny.
For those who are in Christ and understand He is coming again, soon...we have hope for a brilliant future with an awesome God. In the meantime, we must do what we can, take action when action is called for...but fear not. God alone raises up kings and kingdoms, presidents too, that will suit His will and perfect plan.
Keep the faith...Your God will come to save you! All this must come to pass first as part of His perfect plan. The day is coming when all will bow and honor King Jesus as the true Savior of this world

Please do not call a constitutional convention. I believe that our founding fathers wrote an excellent and safe consitution and am quite concerned that you would even consider this! Thanks for allowing me to have input. Cheri Smith

I am so concerned for this nation, but hoe many times can we thumb our noses at God and expect His blessings? I am at the end of my life span, but I will continue to pray for your children and grandchildren as I have none to be concerned about provided God does not end it all soon.

Dear Representative,
You are representting more than the people of your district or state; but the United States!
Ohio State can be the next to last state to vote for or against a Constitutional Convention!
Please be aware of the history of the last Convention and the drastic and possible destructive results of such a drastic measure.
With the framers of the original Constitution dead and buried, and the radical moves by members of the current Congress, we will only have more of the same; an attempt to change an almost perfect document inspired by God Himself!
Our present Constitution is being ignored, but the rules are still there; what would happen if they were made subject to the whims of those who want to change it.
Please vote against this happening!

I think that they want a Con Con so that they can legitmize Obama's presidency. Perhaps he cannot prove his natural birth citizenship so instead of disqualifying him they decided instead to change the Constitution. What's next? One can only guess...
