We belong to a co-op for dairy that was raided

We have belonged to our raw dairy co-op for several years and last year - 2007 - it was raided and everything confiscated. I feel like we are living in the soviet union, not America. Why in the world can't we buy and eat decent food straight from our farmers without this gestapo stuff going on. Our family is thriving on raw dairy and good meat products. I'm sorry this happened to this family. I saw what a toll it took on our farmers.

Thank you for making me aware of this tragedy and illustrating another aspect of our militarized police and the fascist state that we are subject to. These people cannot stand anyone that will not stay in line and cooperate with the "State" - which incidentally, always knows what's best for every individual.
This is all especially disturbing because our family just started raising grass-fed beef this year and are hoping to eventually sell some beef in the coming years. The more we try to be self-sufficient, -from schooling our children at home, to producing our own food, the more we become targets of the state. The patriots that began our nation fought a revolution over less intrusive and onerous government than we suffer with now.

THE FDA

Can the FDA protect us ? It is food from China that is approved by the FDA that has killed so many babies, adults and pets. The suppliers purposely put foreign substances in the food that has caused death and yet the FDA wants to force us to trust in their approved food. Babies have died from the formula, pets have died form the food, and many adults have died from the medicine. But far worse than all this is that an entire nation is being poisoned by this FDA food and drugs. They allow growth hormones to be fed to the animals and it ends up in our meat and dairy. Should we wonder that this nation is dying of obesity when it is being fed growth hormones on a daily basis. The animals are also fed man made antibiotics and these also end up in the meat and dairy. These destroy our immune systems and we end up with children and adults that are allergic to everything and asthma is an epidemic. The FDA has promoted trans fats, sugar, food colorings, and so many non natural food additives that they could not be listed here in 750 words. The FDA is pure evil and when someone tries to eat food that is not tainted by their practices they try to put them in jail. This nation would be better off if the FDA was done away with and every person looked out for themselves. It is as George says, the government has come to view the people as the enemy; and the people need to realize that their government has become their enemy. We have epidemics of Alzheimers, Diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and no one questions why ? What has changed to cause these diseases. The food supply has changed and the FDA has allowed this to happen. Lou Newton

This is despicable what our government is doing! This is not an isolated case by no means! In these final days of the age (pantry raids) this will only increase! This also is one of there favorite tools! They will use these tools more frequent to disarm America by exchanging guns for food! We have to be smart and not keep food stuffs and other items at our homes! Folks and groups like Stan Deyo will give you the tools to battle this. I feel before we (Christians) hear the trumpet that it will get very uncomfortable! Don't go this a lone (pray for wisdom) and get informed! No matter what happens our Lord Jesus Christ (as in the Sinai desert) will meet your needs, he wants to because he LOVES YOU!

These are the things that make me absolutely convinced that this nation is no longer the great country it once was. Where is the outrage by the media, or reporting of it period? Where is the outrage of sane public service officials in Ohio and across the nation? Where are the people of this once great and proud country that should be screaming from the rooftops about the way this family was treated and the fact it won't be the last? Have they brainwashed everyone under forty in our horrible public schools to think that this type of treatment is normal and acceptable? Pray to our Lord Jesus Christ, He is, and always has been our only hope. In this world and the next. Come soon Lord Jesus!

What does this have to do with a Christian worldview? These are people who want to avoid the government and try and make it a Christian issue. What does this have to do with reaching the lost for Christ? Hoe does it help to equip saints to be better witnesses for Jesus?

Are you so uninformed as not to know that Jesus is the King of Justice. Jesus is shown in the entire scriptures defending the defenseless and seeing them getting just treatment. We are all told to defend the poor and the oppressed. Of what good is it to preach the gospel if you do not DO the gospel. If you do not DO as you preach then they are empty words. Much of the OT is instructions of how we should eat. When a person tries to follow these instructions from God they should not be stopped from doing so by our government. That is the very reason the Pilgrims came to this country for. You are not being part of the solution, but you are part of the problem. We have an entire nation who sets and does nothing while people are being raped, killed, and mistreated. I encourage you to repent of this apathy and help those who are mistreated. Lou Newton

I know this family personally and they are dedicated believers who not only spread the word but also give a lot to the poor. Not wanting governmental control of what we eat is certainly an aspect of the Christian Worldview- not only is reference to the End Times, but in general because the more freedoms we lose, the more likely we are to lose the freedom of religion we are so blessed to enjoy. We need to be defenders of the 4th ammendment if for no other reason that that!!!

American people under attack by their government

The American government is no longer subtle in its desire to subdue the common people and non government employees. The federal government has just recently made a blatant move to steal trillions of dollars of the people's wealth. Now they are using SWAT teams to steal the people's food. The government's participation in a global takeover would mandate such moves, because people could huddle in small eco-regions when the main economy falls flat on its face. This diabolical government activity must not be left unaccounted. There is probably no redress of grievances through the court systems. It may be time to stand and fight back. This is not turning the other cheek or repaying evil with good. This is self defense, self preservation of our families. George Cancilla

I'm so sorry that this happened to this family.This story needs wide spread disimination to the American public. I eat organic and fresh foods when I can get them.Imagine not being able to get fresh foods and having to sneak around to get organic and fresh foods like you are commiting a crime to eat well. We the American public need to take a stand and fight back by a rebellion to this kind of Gestapo stlye tactics.If this is the kind of change that we can look forward to under the new administration God help everyonee.
