Logic vs. Dogma

Anything that looks like an attack against logic generally get's my dander up, because the writer/speaker usually possesses no logic themselves, however I know you better Israel. I would hesitate to give the Greeks too much credit... there was logic before them. It is true however that they methodical logic. Each must be evaluated on its own against scripture. In the case of someone like C.S. Lewis, I think he found classical apologetic compelling because it is that logic that broke down the walls in his mind that eventually led to his salvation. So while I would agree that the Spirit does the real work of heart, I think sound logic can break down some obstacles in the mind, only only to prove God, but to disprove false ideas that are keeping people from God.
