I don't think so

Dear brother I have some months reading Answer in Genesis material and I think that you didn't do a good investigation about what they claim. You said: "They can show probability, which is very useful, but these arguments cannot, in a strict sense, be said to “prove” the truth of Christianity" Of course, and they know it perfectly. They don't use evidence to "prove" the Bible (they say this all the time, you have just to take time to read some of their articles), instead of that, they begin with the premise that the Bible is the inerrant word of God and they interprets evidence from this starting point.

I was planning to clarify this point about ICR and AIG in my upcoming article in this series on Presuppositionalism. Your point is well-taken. These two organizations are very Presuppositional in their overall approach to Apologetics. They don't try to "prove the Bible" (although some Evidentialists do); instead they presuppose its truth. However, because of their well-known emphasis on using evidence, they do deserve mention in this article. I agree that they are Presuppositionalists who happen to use a lot of Evidential arguments. I hope that helps to clarify.

SO? The problem with evidential apologetics is that no pastors are talking about it! YOu give three pieces of evidence- but there are literally thousands more! We still have to proclaim it. If we don't tell the good news no one will hear. One of the reasons we have the most liberal Senator as our president is that the truth was suppressed about him. If we don't preach when we can , we will lose the freedom later on.

Through the reading of scripture I have become convinced, that it is the power of the Gospel that changes peoples hearts period. In John the sixth chapter you have many of the disciples of Christ turning away after they had seen not only Christ himself, but numerous miracles. It didn't change their minds in any way. Jesus replied that it shouldn't surprise the remaining disciples that they had turned away because the Father had not chosen them. Salvation starts with God and ends with God. All else is human effort which ends in frustration. Our command is to spread the Gospel and leave the change to the Holy Spirit.
