I think Ms. Folger would make an excellent politician. By "excellent," of course, I mean that she seems to have fully mastered the arts of rhetorical and sophistic manipulation, hypocrisy, and dishonesty. She applies standards to her opponents that she would never apply to her friends, like drawing sinister inferences from the flimsiest of "associations," or taking a few words wildly out of context without informing the reader of the context or bothering to present a charitable case; or making damaging insinuations based on irrelevant evidence, while ignoring piles of relevant evidence to the contrary of those insinuations. I can't believe an organization like CWN would lower themselves to publish this kind of dishonest, dirty drivel for which the words "trash-magazine gossip" would be a compliment. Hey, if it wouldn't even be publishable in the Weekly World News, that should've been a clue not to publish it on a *CHRISTIAN* website! I'd expect more intellectual integrity from a non-Christian middle-schooler than is displayed in this shameful piece, quite frankly.

- OBAMA IS A TRAITOR TO OUR NATION
| Posted On: 10/26/08 09:18:20 AM | | Age 65, OH | Obama says he is a Christian. Yet when he went to Kenya on taxpayer money, for the third time, he did not support the Christian candidates. Obama campaigned for the Muslim supported candidates. When these men lost the election, their supporters went around burning the Christian churches, with the people still in them. Obama did bring change to Kenya, but not the kind of change that any peace loving person would want. Obama is a tribal elder of a tribe that is Muslim. Obama is also a citizen of Kenya. How can any sane person support a man who is a citizen of any nation besides the US. Will Obama support the US or Kenya. Obama showed who he would support, when he returned from Kenya. In the middle of a financial crisis, Obama supported the largest tax ever put on the US citizens from the UN. This tax is 1st illegal, because we would be taxed by a foreign power. 2nd this tax would go to mainly Africa and Kenya is in Africa. It seems to me that Obama chooses to support Kenya OVER the US, just as the church he belonged to for over 20 years states in their doctrine. I am against Obama because he is a traitor to the US, not because of the color of his skin. Lou Click here to reply to this post

Thank you for laying out the situation in a clear and concise form. Also, by providing links to the referenced interviews and/or articles, people can retrieve them for their own perusal.
It has been said that Satan speaks in a smooth, silky voice with his lies carefully woven around selected nuggets of truth. Yet he is also rightfully known as The Prince of Lies.
Setting aside any questions of religion or beliefs; any questions or doubts about his veracity or lies, two simple facts still rear their ugly presence. One: he believes in massive federal government that wants to take the bulk of hard-working people's money from them and dole back to them only what someone in the federal government thinks you should have. That is what the former Soviet Union tried to do and we see how abysmally it failed. Second, the President of the United States can and does find himself having to make critical decisions. And whether these decisions are right or wrong, it was a decision. Obama has a history in the Senate of not being willing to take a stand on even small issues. The vast majority of the time he has voted in the Senate, he voted not Yes, not No, but Present. Present is nothing but a weenie, indecisive or cowardly way to not make a decision. Is that what you want for our President in these volatile times? (In case any one is wondering, I sure don't want it. I expect children to learn how and be able to make decisions for themselves. Do I want a President that cannot or willnot function at even a child's level? Certainly not!)
People, think long, think carefully. I pray that you will make wise decisions when you cast your vote on November 4th. (By the way, Present isn't an option at the ballot!!)

- Wrong.
| Posted On: 10/24/08 11:06:19 PM | | Age 32, IN | It's completely false that "the vast majority of the time Obama voted in the Senate, he voted 'Present'." He did so 129 times out of approximately 4000 votes. That's about 3% - so, 97% of the time, he did indeed vote Yes or No. His usage of the 'Present' option was less than the average for legislators in the Illinois Senate. So your entire second point about Obama collapses. By the way - how did you get the impression that "the vast majority" of his votes were 'Present'? Just curious... Click here to reply to this post

Anyone who reads this and still votes for Obama is like a turkey voting for THANKSGIVING, so be warned NOW. I was going to vote for him until I realized what exactly he stood for, now I will vote McCain ALL THE WAY.
Obama will waste NO TIME, in DESTROYING the Constitution. McCain spent a 20 year long career supporting and defending it and he will still do so.
YOU DECIDE.

Why Don't People Read and Learn

Why is it that there is so much being published but no one is listening?
Why is it that the polls suggest Obama is so far ahead.
Why is it that his "religion" is not being questioned?
Why isn't the religious leaders of our country bringing the information to mail street United States?
Too many "whys" for my understanding.
I'm scared to death what will happen if he should get elected!!!!!!!!!!!

We just spent over 4,000 lives and about $1,000,000,000,000 in Iraq protecting a Muslim way of life ! They are our friends and allies. Why would it be so bad if Obama shared that faith? We also support the Saudis which are also our allies and are Muslim. What is the fear and obession with this issue ?

- read this book
| Posted On: 10/16/08 10:04:26 AM | | Age 52, CA | If you want to know why it is so important to not embrace the Muslims as our friends read "While Europe Slept" by Bruce Bauer. He also has a website. It is an amazing story for two reasons. He left American because he is gay and wanted the freedom of the Netherlands. What he found was hatred of America. Two, he found out how, slowly, the muslims are taking over Europe. You've heard in the news how they want Shirra law in London.
also, here on this website at Understanding the Times archives, Jan talks to a former Muslim woman who says all Arab nations are supporting Obama. THEY believe he is a Muslim and deceiving Americans to move the Muslim agenda ahead. also, google "The Third Jihad" and watch the free movie.

It seems that no matter what Obama says or does the fact that he was born of certain colour and to a father who was Muslim, and had no choice in the early years of his life in terms of where he grew upis unalterable. However, somehow your article deliberately misses the fact that he grew up in America as an average American. How can a magazine that purp[orts to represent Christ be so bigotted and racist in your approach.

Why haven't people like you praised people like Alan Keyes, Ron Langston, Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Janice Rogers Brown and Clarence Thomas? Why do people like you call them "oreos?" - PREJUDICE IS UGLY NO MATTER WHO PRACTICES IT
| Posted On: 10/26/08 09:03:20 AM | | Age 65, OH | Anyone who would bother to read the doctrine of the church that Obama attended for over 20 years can see how prejudiced this church is. They are Black Supremacist. That is racism and is just as bad as the KKK. I would have loved to see a president of the US who happened to be black. But not a man like Obama. I do not vote against him because of his skin color, but because of the people who he has hung around with and the people who have supported him. Lou Click here to reply to this post
truth or urban legend

Barack Obama has stated he is not a Muslim. John McCain has said Obama is not a Muslim. For all of us who would not want him to be president for the multitude of reasons (inexperience, shady ties, all talk no action, all fluff no substance, ultra-liberal ideology, shady ties, etc, etc) he is not a Muslim.
I went to your spliced version of the Youtube video and found in the column next to it the complete interview with George S. It is clear that Obama's reference to "my Muslim faith" was in reference to a hypothetical example of what McCain would say if he believe Obama was a Muslim, which he (McCain) does not believe.
We do the cause of the gospel great harm when we pass on urban legends as truth.

I don't understand how its bad if someone is Muslim and running for president? It's not like you have to be Christian to run for president . I'm an atheist and I found this kind of offensive, you're basically say that your not fit to be the leader of this nation unless you have a Christian background.

Since atheism is having all knowledge about everything you must mean agnostic. It is impossible to know everything therefor cannot be true. And let's just say you were all knowing, why would you comment on such a simple subject for you because you would already have the knowledge to you were 100% without out a doubt correct. There are no gods. You guys are just plain daft.
When are you religious folks going to stop wasting your time reading a book which is so muddled up it's not funny.
My atheist friends are the nicest people I know and they are well educated to boot.
They don't go around shooting people as much as religious folks do - but then facts aren't your strong point are they?

Who has brought more violence to this world than the antichristian Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao. These were all atheists. Lou Click here to reply to this post
