All have sinned
Posted On: 11/22/08 02:50:14 PM Age 63, CA
Gods word has commanded all of us to Love one another. God love's us all but he does not Love the Sin. God commands us to pray for one another and God says let them without sin cast the first stone. Bear ye one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Gal 6:2 I don't agree with the gay life style and Steve didn't mention who he was referring to in his article. Does it matter? Should we be selective in who we pray for? Jesus Christ didn't come to die for the Sins of the perfect because we all became sinners through the sin in the Garden of Eden. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The enemy is seeking whom he may destroy and attacking minds. Remember that Satan is the author of the lie. Satan told Eve that if she ate of the forbidden fruit that she would not die. That was the first lie. God doesn't want any of us to be destroyed but that all who will confess their sins and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Though are sins be scarlet Jesus Christ will make us as white as snow. None of us like to hear that someone that had a Ministry has fallen for Satans lies but we need to pray that the person will return to God. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. We make a mistake when we take our eyes off of Christ and put them on Man. We need to thank God for his mercy that he has shown each one of us and then have compassion for others. Remember, except for the Grace of God go their I. Sin is Sin no matter what label is put on it. I thank the Lord for my Salvation and I pray that those who have fallen into temptation, will humble themselves and be reunited with the Lord. God bless and have mercy on us all.

Thanks for the reminder

Thank you. It gets frustrating out here, in this world full of heresy and attacks on the Body of Christ. I very much appreciate the reminder to pray for people, to hope for the best, to address things Biblically.

Steve, thanks for the reminder. Too often we are no better than those outside the family and usually worse when we think it is for us to, 'expose" others caught in sin. We seem to forget that we are supposed to be ambassadors o reconcilliation and not private slueths. As long as we are here, we are to work to restore not destroy. Thanks again brother. Grace and Peace, Jim

I just want to say amen to your article Mr. Camp. So often Christians can become vigilant for the justice of God that they themselves think that they should be the ones to deliver that justice. The action we should take, like you said, is we should be treating our fellow brother or sister with the grace that was shown to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What Are You Referring to, Steve?
Posted On: 09/16/08 03:58:17 AM Age 41, WI
One problem with cutting and pasting blog posts into Christian Worldview Network is that it is confusing as to what is being talked about. If Steve Camp is referring to Ray Boltz coming out as a homosexual in the Washington Blade, it would help to know that. It isn't advertising someone's sin when news outlets all over the country are printing this infamy that has brought further shame on Christ's name. Further, far more than two "bloggers" are carrying the story. Countless Christians have supported Ray Boltz financially through the purchase of his music and attending his concerts down through the years, believing he was what he professed to be; aChristian married man and father of 30 years who loved his wife and family. He now tells the Blade he was living a lie. That is his chosen face to the public which has brought a lot of shame to Christ. Further, Ray claims that God made him that way, which is blasphemous. In our haste to condemn "bloggers" as tabloid-esque, let's not forget that Ray has been exposed to enough gospel to save China. He chose to name the name of Christ while admitting he knew he was "gay". He is now part of the apostate Metropolitan Community Church so how in the world does Matthew 18 and church discipline come in, Steve? This piece at CWN is damaging because it does not name bloggers and leaves it open to speculation as to who is being "tabloid-esque" and who is simply reporting the news as every Christian news outlet in the country has also done. I'm disappointed in this piece, Steve. It's sloppy.

Considering the date and subject, it sounds like it's referring to the Ray Boltz "outing", but the way Steve wrote the article it makes one wonder exactly what he's talking about. It would be better to see specifics mentioned just so the reader doesn't have to play a guessing game.
