Pray for those who refuse to acknowledge and accept

Unfortunately, I didn't see the humor in this article. When it’s your own family members, it takes on a much more serious tone.
My sister has boldly decorated their refrigerator with several bumper stickers, one of which states: "Born OK The First Time" along with other Primate banners stating, according to evolution, she proudly started out as an ugly monkey. It makes me sad to go to their home -- where my two teen-aged nieces reside. I'm the one in the family regarded as "odd" - I wear a cross and tend to be a light in their darkness that they refuse to recognize. Her denial of God as our Creator, our Father, and Jesus Christ as the only way to eternal life is something I pray for everyday. I pray someone will come into their daughters’ lives to turn their heads and hearts in the right direction. This election process is simply adding fuel to the fire. Obama must be Satan’s favorite disciple. Our family is absolutely split in two !!! Their family needs Jesus and I need to remain strong.

Perhaps these people interpret being born again as something that happens after they are dead and in the ground, like the seed of a tree. It is a lousy bumper sticker, but there are people who denounce the earthly emotional concept of born again (which seems to vascillate on and off depending on the circumstances surrounding the individual) by stating they're still in gestation, and they fully expect they will be born again into spirit, as opposed to flesh, when Jesus Christ calls them to rebirth after the finality of their death. There are arguments for both interpretations. As for the original sin aluded to in the second bumper sticker--again, smartalecks abound...Born just OK (but barely so by the grace of Christ) the first time, but will be greatly improved next time!
