We see that this fellow Tomasella "strikes people with the "fear" of God". I must have missed reading that passage somewhere in Scripture as being tantamount to the Great Commission. Most know why I did. It's nowhere in there. Tomasella just makes up a clever little catch-phrase, sort of like a WWE entertainer. Not surprising though, since, he's simply an opportunistic businessman with product to sell. Pathetic. In addition, you will recall from Scripture, those that accused our Saviour of demon possession and association. It was those that denied him and eventually killed him. Pay close attention to wolves in sheeps clothing with there quixotic flamboyancy. They are frauds.

Todd is not deceived, he is used by "the Deceiver". I pray the Lord will take the blinders off the eyes of those who think just because it appears to be good things going on, the truth of deception will be seen. God uses holy vessels separated unto himself.

Can someone please show where, anywhere, in Scripture physical violence is used to drive out disease? Jesus spoke of prayer and fasting not giving a knee to the mid-section to a person who is riddled with cancer.

Thank you for writing the cold, hard, demonic truth about this thing. If you haven't already, I recommend looking into the similarities between this nonsense and the kundalini (serpent spirit). There are a few youtube videos on it.
This is truly a move of satan and so many people are being deceived. Keep up the good work!

I've watched Todd Bentley via God TV and have seen him read from the Bible and give glory to Jesus. The devil is a deceiver and I haven't seen or heard Todd Bentley point people away from Jesus, in fact, the opposite is true.

The devil never declared Jesus to be the Lord, because the devil will not make such a declaration until a God appointed future time when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord to the glory of God the Father. In contrast, Tood Bentley has affirmed the Lordship of Jesus on many occasions.

Men are liars and we should not only listen to what comes form their lips but also their actions. Just because a man says he is a car, carries around a can of gas, and sleeps in the garage does not mean he is a car. There are so many signs that this man is a false prophet. The scriptures tell us not to tattoo or cut or bodies. God forgives IF we confess it as sin and then repent. This man parades his sin around and shows no shame for his not only past sin but present sin. God tells us that there is a false priesthood called the Eli priesthood and one sign of it is being overweight and the other that is they takes the gifts from the people to the Lord and consume them themselves. Anyone so feeble minded as to think that kicking a person with stomach cancer in the stomach is from The Lord Jesus, it is hard to feel sorry for them. Lou

This is not a helpful analogy. Smith Wigglesworth punched a woman in the stomach when she had cancer. Applying the same logic as you've done to Todd Bentley, do you also want to argue that Wigglesworth pointed people away from Jesus by punching sick people in the stomach?

Please show me where in Scripture that physical violence is the way we are told to heal others of sickness.
What means were employed by God's instruments of healing? Prayer? Fasting? Laying of hands? Speech?
If you are having a circus to get people to notice you and then you use means to "heal" someone that are not even close to the means we see in Scripture (in tone of usage) then you are on shaky ground, not a firm rock.
With this logic of physical violence used as God's way, we can use metal pipes if we, "hear from God" and start cracking people upside the head because they are insane. We can do that because Wigglesworth punched someone in the stomach.....

Friend, we must cease looking to mere men and not the LORD. Wigglesworth was only a man and perhaps God led him to do certain things but certainly isn't leading Bentley to do the same...he isn't even saved. If you are going to look to men, look to the apostle Paul, John, and Peter. Look to Jesus Christ. His Word is final authority.
Didn't Jesus tell us that false prophets who come in His holy name would deceive "many"? (Matt. 24:5, 11, 24) Also, did He not foretell that "MANY" who call Him "Lord, Lord" and even use His name in vain to do miracles, prophesy, and do many wonder works, are going to hell? You can't have it both ways! You have posted an article about a man - Todd Bentley. I have simply pointed out that in a particular respect (punching people in the stomach), Todd is like Smith Wigglesworth. The way in which you're using Matthew 7: 21-23, frankly leaves room for ANYONE to be accused of being a flase prophet - you included.
