Me, Too!

I haven't been shopping at Barnes and Noble since November, when I went in to look for a photography book for my dad. I had my three-year-old daughter with me and there were two books facing out in the photography section that were pornographic. There is an entire book of pictures of breasts - with breasts on the cover. And a book of pictures of people in leather that didn't even cover all of their parts. The cover was the backside of a woman with her rear end showing and she was looking around at the camera seductively. I talked to the manager and he insisted that it qualified as "art" and belonged in the photography section. He refused to even turn those books in (!!!) so they weren't being displayed to the public. I hate that store. They are disgusting. Thanks for taking them on in a big way. I'm thankful for people like you who can get the masses to listen and respond.

Evil seen as good

Isaiah says woe to those who see evil as good and good as evil. Most people are not even upset about this. Hearts have become cold and wicked.
It's not going to be all that much longer until we cannot even proclaim that homosexuality is a sin.
Come, Lord Jesus.

Pornography will & has ruin(ed) peoples' lives, marriages, etc.

There is so much going on in this twisted, perverse world...Satan is having a party with these evil people(homosexuals, fornicators, porn-addictions, TV, music, AND SO MUCH MORE!!!). The more I hear about this kind of garbage going on the more I realize there are sooooooo many lost people out there!! I can never imagine how sad(& angry) this makes our Creator--which to me ALL this filth that is taking over is a sign that the end time is very near us...I don't know how much more God can bear! We, as God's people, have a lot of work to do before this happens!! I have two children myself(16 & 13), and my heart breaks to hear about all this!!! Kids are subjected to so much filth(in school too--not to mention most everywhere else we go!!)...my son was unfortunately "taught" some things from a classmate--just during their 'pass-time'(between classes, which is 5 minutes), and I was absolutely stunned at what this 6th grade classmate had learned about sexuality--who knows how(TV, parents, magazines, books, internet, other kids...). It is just sick!!!!!!!!!!! Now, for this trash to be so available it seems like just about anywhere makes me, as a parent, so angry/frustrated and I feel helpless at the same time!! We have gone to B&N a lot--always liked the store. We do not have one here in our town--we have had to drive about 30-45 minutes to get to one...but I will no longer shop there and I will tell all the people I can about this as well!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes you wonder what kind of filthy lifestyle the owner(s) has huh!! The reason I titled this the way I did is because I have been married to 20 years & just found out about 3 years ago(through the confession of my husband) that he had gotten exposed to pornography at age 12 and his life was never the same--he explained to me that it got very addicting & he ended up having a lot of problems, had affairs, etc.--he & I became Christians a little before that & he knew after that that he had a problem and that was when he confessed to me & through prayer & all that, he was healed!! But, with men, those images can remain with them forever and to hear about all this pornographic-related stuff going on and all the 'sex' on TV and just everywhere makes me sick to my stomach!!!!! Especially to think about what it is doing to people, to kids, marriages, etc. My husband & I give the complete credit to God for saving our marriage--I know we would not still be married today otherwise, and then we would be another one of those statistics and so would our kids!!!!!!! Thank you Lord!!!!!!!!!!
I could say a lot more--I have a huge heart for this kind of stuff, but I will let this end.
REMINDER TO ALL: "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW"
God Bless You All!!!!!!!!!!

I will be glad to sign petition as soon as you post that I will NOT receive any additional emails or that my email address will NOT be distributed to anyone else. I do NOT like the idea that getting involved in trying to correct the problem really serves to build your email database. I do NOT need to be notified by email because I regularly visit your website.
THANKS

While I'm not surprised by the gay books being in such easy and open display, I am very concerned by the fact that the manager apparently did not call the police in regards to the incidents in the bathroom, a loaded gun, or of the child assault. Are the police investigating that?

Homosexuals are exhibitionists of the worst kind.

Two years ago, when I began my activism work, I wrote my AOL article that told about AOL's agenda to push homosexuality. In that article, I shared with my readers much of what I learned there about homosexuals and their agenda. One thing spoken of in that article, was that they are not really out to have people "get out" of their bedrooms --they want us to know full well what is going on in those rooms. This past year, I wrote another article on the homosexual agenda in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where the homosexuals managed to get a porn section in a public library. The situation in Barnes and Noble just does not come as a shock to me. Homosexuals are exhibitionists of the worst kind.

I noticed this problem two years ago while shopping at the Barnes & Noble store in Kingston, NY. The gay/lesbian section is right in the center of the store!

Barnes & Noble

I was just listening to AFR and wanted to let you know that I was very dissappointed to hear that Barnes & Noble was selling and displaying 'adult' books in their store for any child to see. I have no choice but to discontinue to shop from Barnes & Noble until I hear that something has been done about this.
I have made purchases from Barnes & Noble several times a year for years now and was always happy with their store and product - I am by no means a huge customer but a customer never the less.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I applaud you for standing up for concerned parents/Christians everywhere!
We need to let our voices be heard even to these big companies that seem to think that no rules apply to them!
Thank you!!
God’s blessings for continue strength, courage and wisdom to you,
Lorie

Reluctance to sign pettition

Here's an e-mail I got in reply to forwarding the request to sign the pettition:
"I would sign their petition if they didn't FORCE me to be put on one of their email lists."
Can something be done about this? I'm sure this person isn't the only one who won't sign because there is no option to not be put on any e-mail distribution lists.

Where were you 15 years ago

Around 15 years ago, an ex-inmate who worked for me at an Ohio prison got much ridicule and little help from the christian community for protesting Barnes & Noble for selling porn. His 10 year old daughter was able to buy porn at a Barnes & Noble and he protested. The media only reported on his pre-christian lifestyle and the christian community turned its back.
This was the only man that I recommended for parole while I worked at the Prison. I saw this man buy christian study materials with his $21 dollars a month instead of snacks etc. I taught him greek during my breaks. I recommended him for bible school after one wouldn't allow him in because he was an ex-con. I knew he had a calling on his life so the school would be the one blessed.
He made a little impact on B&N, but I can only imagine what would be now if people had supported him. The child wouldn't have seen gay porn if many would have looked upon his life after Christ instead of his record before Christ.
people it is 15 years later. I beg you to support christian regardless of their stature. There might have been a child spared.
