Wow. I have 3 daughters. I can't imagine what pain and grief you must feel. I have lost family very close to me, but not my children. So, with only 3 of the strongest words in the english language I offer my sympathy and pray for your comfort:
God Bless You
Father, I know it hurts for us to loose those we love. Your Holy ways are so much greater than our understanding, and we worship you even in our sorrow. You know the pain because you watched as your own Son, Jesus, died on the cross.
Bless Steven and his family. Comfort them in their hour of pain. Thank You for knowing their deepest feelings of anguish and sorrow. Where there is hopelessness, give them comfort. Where there is pain, give them peace. When they ask why, remind them of the depth of Your love for them.
Make yourself plain to them now and forever in Jesus' Mighty and Perfect Name. Amen.
