Thoughts from someone who has experienced SOULFORCE

i am a student at Lee University in Cleveland, TN. A church of God University. Last year, soulforce visited my campus as part of there tour. They asked if they could have one of our chapel services dedicated just to them. Our president told them yes that we could have an open discussion where we listen to them and ask questions and present our views. They declined that. Soulforce wanted to just present what i beleive to be false doctrine and not allow for any feedback. I personally sat and talked to many of the soulforce members. Actually, many of them are not Christians, some are hindu, some atheist, some buddhists.
When i asked them about why they beleive what they beleive it had nothing to do with the Bible or Christianity. It was more of a "kind worldview" I understand the main guy is a theologian who does refute Biblically.
During there time at Lee they were treated with kindness and openess. Off campus, someone spraypainted "fag" on their bus. This is the only issue they reported on their website about the visit to Lee. They are looking for controversy, they are looking to get persecuted. That is what they want. They organization does not seem to genuinly want to seek God.

In the video series 'Whats so amazing about Grace" by Philip Yancey, Mel White is mentioned by Philip Yancey as a good friend and a Christian... I'm afraid that he (Mel White) is showing his "true colors"...
