That is absolutely amazing. Many people have the misconception that Muslims would be extremely hard to witness to. While that would be true for some of them, who might even have you killed if you tried, it's not true for most of them. God has given me a burden for this people group. I can't imagine anything more fulfilling than seeing God liberate these people from their bonds. One thing that I think makes them convert is that you are saved by faith, not through works! Muslims are spending endless years of their life trying to meet up to all their religious restrictions and tip the scales in their favor. Just because they’re a Muslim doesn’t mean they believe they are going to Paradise. So they could spend their whole lives trying to be a good Muslim only to find out when they die they didn’t do enough. That’s exhausting, and scary. That’s why some of them are so angry and bitter. But if you told them of the love of Christ and liberated them from their good works, which aren’t even good in the first place, they will respond. Not only that, but Islam teaches them to hate anyone who isn’t Muslim. Can you imagine that, having to hate someone just because of what they believe? Just imagine how mind boggling it is for them when they hear that God loves all sinners, and they should express the same kind of love to them.
Let’s be thankful that we have a God whom we love because He first loved us, unlike Allah, who only loves those who first love him.

The #1 reason?

"The number one reason is that they wanted a personal relationship with God", NO, the #1 reason is that God reached down and chose them period. Now for all you Westeners, leave your hands off the new converts and leave your traditions and organizations at home. If you export your christianity to N. Africa you'll destroy them like the American church is destroyed. America and the american "church" is not the center of christianity, Christ is and you have pilled so much junk on top of Him that He can't be found in your churches. A new convert is better off alone than with help from any church person!!!

Amen, I just came back from a holiday in Mozambique where I stayed with some missionary friends, it was great seeing how God is working! There is also a "More than Dreams" movie thing that is gaining popularity - God is definitely at work.
I was really excited about the article, I just have one issue - we don't "accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord", He accepts us! But other than my fanatical semantic issues, awesome!
I pray that I will get to see a national, if not global, revival in my time but just seeing the work God is doing now is exciting!

inspite of the war and the deaths that occur in war, some of the muslims can see the benifits of our soldiers. our men and women are building, protecting, and whether they know it or not, they are witnessing. the rest of the world sees us as a Christian nation, and as they show compassion, and kindness and standing up for underdogs--who are murdered, raped, and tortured by their own countrymen--they see Christianity. i am in no way implying that all our soldiers are Christians!!!! but we have a general mindset for compassion and 'protecting the underdog' that is new testament in nature. our early godly heritage has in many ways permiated our culture. also, with our soldiers in the middle east, mission groups can enter and spread the love and compassion of Christ. He healed and fed and helped and loved and showed great forgiving compassion on the people of His time, and these people are His representitives and are doing the work He left them/us to do.
