Ted Turner Does A 180 on Religion?

with who?

I had a similar question, what brand of Lutherans? Wisconsin Synod and Missouri Synod are rather conservative on some 'social Gospel' areas, so it may be the ELCA which definitely leans to left of traditional Lutheran theology on a lot of areas. Fighting malaria is a valiant thing to do, but is Ted thinking this will be his 'indulgence' to pay for everything he's said and done in life before to now get him to heaven?

Not an endorsement, but...

Mr. Noebel, you wouldn't have just read Vox Day's "Irrational Atheist", would you? He makes the same point about the vast majority of wars not being religious. (Not accusing you of plagiarism by any means; it's just that it is great that many people are seeing this.)--Mrs. Pilgrim

Turn around?

It is really a turn around if Turner is donating 200 million dollars for malaria reduction, because Turner has always maintained a population reduction stance. I won't believe he has made a true conversion until I hear him renounce his New Age religious ideas and his stand for the United Nations. George Cancilla

Summit

The Summit Student Leadership Conference sounds like something that could prove to be a much needed educational tool. I have some reservations about Ted Turner doing a turn around. I'm sorry but I smell a rat with his alliance with Lutherens and Methodists. George Cancilla

If you smell a rat, could it have gotten killed by standing on a railroad track?
