Why don't you guys read the article before you go off on a tangent. This article is not about the war, Bush, Christian armies or anything else you are rambling on about. It is about the false face of Islam...good grief!

Neocon christians love to rant about "Those evil Muslims vs us good christians" The truth is that our own abortion clinics kill far more of our own babies than any Muslim terrorist ever could. Our own Gangs shoot more of us than any Islamofacist group. Our own drug dealers poison more of us than any nations chemical weapons. And our own sexual imorality infects more of us than any biological weapons program. Add to this that every survey ever conducted concludes that those who practice these and other vices are the same within the walls of our Churches as they are for those on the outside. And YOU want to "Liberate" The world into this with your gospel of bombs & bullets? We all need to remove the plank from our own eye before we talk of the spec in theirs. We have the false face of Christianity to deal with before we could ever deal with Islam.

How about us? Shal we discuss how neocon christians have baan calling for us to bomb Muslims into western godlessness? How many neocon pastors have been blessing the bombs we have been dropping over there?
Sean Hennedy appeared on Dobson's radio program and declared "God has blessed us with the most powerfull military that has ever existed and if we do not use it to free the world into democracy, God will judge this nation!"
Another pastor proclaimed "We must not stop in Iraq! OPur Christian arny must purge the entire Middle East of thayt stench called Islam and then go on into China! We must not stop until the entire world is under the flag of America and Cross of Christ!"
I myself resigned from my Bab\ptist CHurch when Bible study was pre empted by a lecture from an Air Force officer boasting about how our "Christian Military id doing Gods work in Iraq. Can you show me anywhere where we are called upon to make weapons with money we don't really have and liberate the world into out abortion, drug use, homosexuality, sex for kids and call it grace? Can you show me anywhere in the Bible where "The will of the people" AKA "Democracy" is EVER spoken of favorably much less called for.
Once again, we have neocon pastors talking about "Those evil Muslims" And "Us Good Christians" And how we need to bomb them into our ways. To date "Our ways" Have been to practice the same deviaint sins of the world and procalim that Grace is a license to do so.

No honest Christian can justify U.S. military presence in Iraq or anywhere else in the Mideast. Evangelicals have been conned into voting as a block. They focused on the sexual perversions of Bill Clinton and voted George W. Bush in as a "Christian." It was soon obvious that Bush was a liar and a war monger. He brought fear on our society with his "war on terror." I guess this gave his Christian followers some rationale for his devious and dastardly crimes such as torture. He made absolutely no attempt to stop abortion on demand. The evangelicals tried to find another Christian in Mike Huckabee. The best he could come up with when asked about the Iraq war was: "We need to leave with honor." The Bible tells us to swallow our pride. God is not going to find favor with lying, fearful, and proud Christians. “When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest.” George Cancilla

What you say is true if one holds to an honest Christian worldview. But that Christian sentiment doesn't register with most of the U.S. elected representatives. Integrity is obviously lacking in the governing bodies, while greed and narssicism is in abundance. Allegiance to the Constitution is not hardly adhered to by any of the three branches of government--especially the executive. Why should they care about Islamic training centers when they are turning more than just a blind eye to illegal immigration in general? At least a ten year moratorium on legal immigration is in order. It makes no sense to destroy Iraq or Iran when your own country is being infiltrated and eroded from within...not only by Islam, but by "every unclean bird." George Cancilla
