Gary Bauer: Burnt Toast?

I find Bauer's comments interesting. It looks to me like he's stirring the pot to bring more confusion. Maybe because he's been told to do this. I read somewhere that he's a member of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). Why in the world is he a member of this Lucifer led organization if he claims to be a Christian?!!! Wolf in sheep's clothing?

Gary Bauer is burnt toast and being discarded by many people, myself included. He's been in Washington too long and so has his buddy, Tony Perkins. They are marked off my list forever. Dirty politics is everywhere. People on this comment page are speaking disparagingly of Mike Huckabee because they are Ron Paul or McCain supporters. Notice how Huckabee supporters don't personally attack other candidate's character? No one has the right to ask Huckabee to withdraw from a free and open election. Huckabee is the only candidate (and Alan Keyes) running for President that has been 100% prolife even before he entered politics. Huckabee is a humble man of honor who is being attacked by many people who truly do not know his record. His record has been distorted by many people who want him out of the race. Huckabee got my vote.

How easy it is to dismiss legitimate concerns just by calling them attacks. Does Mr. Huckabee's alliance with Rick Warren not bother you at all? The evidence marshalled against him? Do you really think that EVERYONE is lying about him, and that you can only trust Mr. Huckabee's word about Mr. Huckabee? If so, and others think as you do, then this nation is lost.--Mrs. Pilgrim

Kim Clement Prophesy
Posted On: 02/12/08 09:49:15 PM Age 51, TX
I have such peace in this election. It really is God who places the leaders, but we Christians do need to pray and vote to make that happen. I was intrigued by Kim Clement's two prophesies last year about the up coming Presiential election. The are still on his web site, you have to dig around the prophesy page of last year to read the two. In a nut shell, the Lord said through Kim that our next president would NOT be a female... he would appear to be like a democrate but actually be a republican. He would also NOT appear to be spiritual as we would like, BUT that after he was in the white house, after a while, God would fill the White House with HIS Spirit and peace would come to America again. There is only one male that is running for president that fits that.... it's McCain. John McCain is our next president. I have been around Kim in many meetings and have never seen a Word from the Lord about National politics and international things ever be 'off'. The Word of the Lord has always been right that I have seen and heard delivered. I was in Republican Louisiana politics in the 90's and elected to the National convention in Houston. Along the trail there, I saw first hand how McCain was a womanizer with an employee of mine at the time. It shocked me and I have not ever really liked the guy BUT.....we all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. I have not seen all of his voting records and I would probably consider him a leftist republican or an independant at least. However, I have peace in knowing WHO IS ON THE THRONE and HIS choice is getting in. I am comforted to know from the prophesies that Hillary won't be there and apparently Obammmmmmmmma won't be either....whew. Those are two scarey thoughts. I would take 20 McCains that one Hillary or Obama. Thanks for listening and reading. PRAY PEOPLE for GOD's will to be done in these days. Jeremiah 33:3

Huckabee is a Liberal in Conservative Covering
Posted On: 02/12/08 08:01:32 PM Age 62, FL
Huckabee is a very Liberal self-serving limelight loving entertainer - nothing more ! He is NOT even the minister he claims to be - his own campaign admits to his lies about that. One lie means more lies are there too, and they are! Lots of them ! He is Anti-Constitution and all for open borders and HE IS ALL FOR ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT!=SATAN'S GOV'T OF THE LAST DAYS! Huckabee is NOT who he presents himself to be ! BEWARE ! Christians have been so DECEIVED (Remember -this is the 'age of DECEPTION' we are in now) by him ! I cannot believe how blind and weak 'Christians' are! Where is all the discernment they are suppose to have ??? They are falling for the exact same deceptions they did with Bush ! When we have had a gift from God right in front of us all along! Ron Paul is a REAL Christian - you know the kind who LIVES it - not the kind who USES God to get votes and makes God a laughing stock with his jokes as Huck has done! Ron Paul is the ONLY ONE RUNNNING who IS Constitutional! Ron Paul is God's gift - Wonder how many real 'Christians' out there will SEE it ? This will most likely be the last election (as fixed as they are) - this is America's last chance ! Voting the 'lesser of the two evils' IS STILL VOTING FOR EVIL ! Jesus did not COMPROMISE ! Real Christians won't either !

On Gary Bauer...
Posted On: 02/12/08 06:59:42 PM Age 64, OR
Could it be that Gary Bauer has been in Washington's political circles a bit too long if he's saddling up to John McCain? Likely so if he has forgotten McCain's sexual trysts while a military officer (a breach of the military officer's code of conduct), divorced his first wife (where's the family values?). Talk about COMPROMISE of Biblical values!!! "For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect." Mark 13:22 (KJV) "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." II Thessalonians 2:11 (KJV) What's with all these clueless Christians? How is it that people who have the benefit of the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the warning and insight of the Sacred Scriptures--not to mention a rich Christian heritage here in America--can be so ignorant, blind, and naïve? Yes, the majority of evangelical Christians seem to be all of the above. The problem has passed being serious: it is catastrophic! How is it that we have drifted away from being an informed, active, knowledgeable, and dedicated group of highly motivated Christian patriots to a group of impotent and anemic sheep? Our Christian forebears must be turning over in their graves, because we are in the process of squandering the greatest human sacrifice--save that of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ--ever made: the sacrifice of America's Founding Fathers. The problem is manifold, of course. For the most part, our pastors have become glorified politicians and business executives. As attorneys are not schooled in the Constitution, today's ministers are not schooled in the Scriptures. They are motivational speakers, salesmen, and business managers. The Bible is only used as a side reference, if at all. It is not taught or preached literally. Pastors go through the Bible the way people go through a salad bar: gleaning a few sweet-tasting morsels and rejecting everything that appears the least bit distasteful. Then there is the "fit-in-with-the-brethren" mentality. The politicos in Washington, D.C., have nothing on many pastors' fellowship groups. Fitting in with the denomination seems to be a far greater priority than being an independent man of God. And, of course, let's not forget the importance of not "making waves" with the deacons, elders, or church trustees. In a word, today's pastors have been very effectively neutered. Another problem is the way our pastors and churches have become "success" driven. Churches used to focus on truth and discipleship. No more. The church-growth movement of the last three decades has produced a generation of Christians much more concerned about crowds, buildings, and activities than they are fidelity to truth. Church has become a numbers game where success is measured by attendance and offerings. There is yet another problem: today's churches are completely enamored with power. No, not the power of God. They are completely infatuated with the power of men. Rich men. Popular men. Influential men. Celebrities. Politicians. Millionaires. Sports stars, etc. Yet, listen to what God tells us about rich and powerful men. "Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?" James 2:6 (KJV) Historically, it has always been the super-wealthy, super-powerful elements of society that have brought tyranny and persecution to God's people. It is the political and business elite who have trampled people's freedoms and liberties, enslaved their children, and ravaged their lands and properties. Nothing has changed: the super-elite in the United States and Europe are continuing to do what they have always done. Both the Republican and Democrat parties are controlled by those who desire to create a globalistic society in which they will control the world's materials and peoples. Both George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush have contributed to the tyrannical goals and ambitions of the super-elite. So has Bill Clinton. If John McCain, Mike Huckabee, Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama is elected, they will follow in the globalist footsteps of their predecessors. The Christian professions of our political leaders mean nothing. Absolutely nothing! Putting an "R" behind his or her name also means nothing. Neither does calling oneself a "conservative" mean anything. Our political leaders are mostly walking in lockstep with the evil designs of the super-wealthy. Ditto for the executives who control our major media. And our Christians and ministers seem to be absolutely clueless.

Yeah right . . .

This article is pure junk. It is blatantly intellectually dishonest. I am no McCain fan. I have always disliked him. I still do. But as anyone with half a brain can see, he is certainly pro life. Check out his ratings from Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and NRTL for yourself. http://www.votesmart.org/issue_rating_category.php?can_id=53270 What's more, McCain is twice the conservative that Mike Huckabee is. Don't believe me? Read what is wrong with Huckabee here: An Open Letter to Conservatives, Evangelicals, and Home Schoolers http://blogsforfredthompson.com/open-letter-all-conservatives-evangelicals-and-homeschoolers It is irrational articles like this that lead some to believe our movement is juvenile, shallow, and ill-informed.

Why make the same mistake?
Posted On: 02/12/08 03:59:19 PM Age 55, FL
Why does Dick Bott make the same mistake as the major secular media? Why does he assume that Huckabee is the only prolife candidate left? Sure, it's obvious Bauer has been in Washington too long and not in his Bible enough lately. McCain is undeserving of true conservative support. Huckabee's record, while being prolife and promarriage, is similarly suspect on government spending, immigration, and like McCain is moving to more conservative positions to acquire more votes. Before you blow me off, please check the record of Ron Paul. You want a consistent prolife, promarriage, small govenment conservative constitutionalist? Paul's your man. Talk about a David! There's a reason why Paul has raised more money than any other Republican candidate. Don't take the pundits' take on Paul; do your own homework. Check his record. He's the only man for the job.

Mike Huckabee has our vote. As a Christian I am frustrated with the games people like Bauer are playing. Either day late and dollar short Dobson style endorsements or Bauer's endorsement of McCain who is not pro family enough to want a constitutional amendment that says marriage is one man one woman. McCain is top of the list of absent voters. Last I read he hadn't voted 60 percent of the time. We probably don't have another 4 years given the way prophesy is unfolding in Israel at this hour. I believe Huckabee is the man to face the dems and win.

Texan Christians are just waiting to vote for Huckabee!
Posted On: 02/12/08 10:09:24 AM Age 45, TX
It's so tiring to have to wait and wait and wait for our chance to speak out and vote for the candidate we support as Texans. Everyone I know is determined to vote for Mike Huckabee. I spent hours researching all of the candidates and when I got to Mike I didn't have to look any farther. I haven't read much news, I don't listen to the radio etc. So I've had no input from political ads or campaigns. But I did look up the voting records, past news articles, and any other information I could find on the candidates. When I read the published views and opinions of Mike Huckabee I knew I had found a candidate to stand behind. My husband and I were so impressed by his values and his vision as a Christian and a political leader. I'm glad he's sticking it out, so we Texans can get a chance to vote for him! Hang in there Mike!!!
