Authentic Christians Must Prepare to go Underground

If you are not daily studying the Word of God, are not praying without ceasing, are not praying for spiritual discernment, are not building a close knit group of like-minded real Christians, then you will succumb to the secular humanists and religious globalists (ecumenicals) and experience becoming separated from God by deceit.
From Genesis to Matthew to Revelation, Satan "subtly deceives" by many means. He's done it THROUGH former president Bush (Sr.), overtly through Bill Clinton, and subtly through G.W. Bush (disgusting). ALL of the current presidential candidates (excluding Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo) have ties to the globalist agenda of a one world government, one world religion and one world economy. A vote for any of them, including Mike Huckabee (apostate professed believer), is a vote for the destruction of America. Wait and see.

What Obama Realy Believes

Here is some info from Truth or Fiction.com
I am not sure that a President must be a Christian, however, Obama shows what is happening in the world today in that he claims "Christianity" while denying that Christ is the ONLY way to God. This is the same apostasy being fueled by the Emergent movement. Sadly, President Bush, Billy Graham, and Robert Schueller have the same belief in an "all roads lead to God" theology. This is contrary to Christ's own words, "I am THE way, THE truth, and THE Life, NOONE comes to the Father but By Me". We either believe HIM and EVERYTHING He said, or we cannot claim to be His (i.e., Christians).

An article Scott Turow on Salon.com in 2004, said that while in Indonesia, Obama spent 2 years in a Moslem school then 2 more in the Catholic school. In terms of actual beliefs, Obama told Falsini that he has a deep faith "...rooted in the Christian tradition." He added, "I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people, that there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and that there’s an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived." He said his mother "...was a deeply spiritual person and would spend a lot of time talking about values and give me books about the world’s religions and talk to me about them. Her view always was that underlying these religions was a common set of beliefs about how you treat other people and how you aspire to act, not just for yourself but also for the greater good." He also told Falsini, "Alongside my own deep personal faith, I am a follower, as well, of our civic religion. I am a big believer in the separation of church and state. I am a big believer in our constitutional structure." Regarding his conversion experience, Obama said, " It wasn’t an epiphany. It was much more of a gradual process for me. I know there are some people who fall out. Which is wonderful. God bless them. For me, I think it was just a moment to certify or publicly affirm a growing faith in me." Critics have said that his Christian faith is a political choice to help his image and conceal Islam in his life. Supporters point out that his conversion took place before he ran for any public office. In the Falsini interview he said he reads the Bible, although not as much as he wants to, and that prayer is a part of his daily life but not in the formal sense. "I think I have an ongoing conversation with God. Throughout the day I’m constantly asking myself questions about what I’m doing, why I am doing it," he said. "The difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and proselytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that if people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior, they’re going to hell," he told Falsini. She said Obama did not believe that he or anyone else was going to hell and that he wasn't sure he was going to heaven either. "What I believe in is that if I live my life as well as I can, that I will be rewarded. I don't presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, aligning myself to my faith and values is a good thing.”

do your own RESEARCH... article full of misinformation

I would not vote for Obama. My reasons are mostly due to his inexperience and the fact that he appears to lack a grasp on foreign policy issues and seems naive. I take issue with the article referenced because it is rife with inaccuracies and false information. I have received several emails with similar content and recently did extensive research to ferret out the truth. What I found were investigations by reputable news agencies (like CNN, etc...) that went looking to confirm these claims and found them to be false. (Example- the Wahabi "Muslim" school in Jakarta was/is actually a secular public school in a primarily Muslim country where he lived when his stepfather worked for a U.S. oil company there.)
While it's true that Obama's father and stepfather were both Muslim, his mother was mostly agnostic and viewed religion much like an archeologist- not practitioner. She exposed her son to many religions and even sent him to a Catholic school for a time. YOU CAN'T CONTROL WHO YOUR PARENTS ARE and I certainly would not want to be judged in that way. Obama's conversion to Christianity came in the mid-1980's when he was moved by the very charitable and Christ-like works that he saw his current church congregation involved in. Seeing these acts that are contrary to human nature caused him to believe it must really be God behind it and that was when he started seeking, and subsequently found faith and a relationship with Christ. He's not the first person I have heard give a similar testimony; I don't doubt their sincerity as a Christian and I certainly won't judge THEM by who their parents are!
Since Obama never actually practice Islam, he is not under threat of death. That solves that mystery!
Having said all that, I try to distance myself from the pharisaical "you must vote Republican to be a Christian" mentality too. The Bible states it is the responsibility of the Church- not the government- to lead people to Christ. A great many scriptures were penned to drive home the point that government organized/endorsed religion ALWAYS leads to disaster because humans are so prone to failure and temptation. Very few meek and humble servants of God survive the political process.
In summary, to get the real scoop on anything you have to do your own research and not blindly accept what the talking heads say. Remember, they too have an agenda and will omit information and twist facts to support their position. On this topic I started my research at snopes.com and then researched the sites of all the sources listed in the articles. It takes some time, but it is much more productive than killing time watching TV, etc.
So far not a single candidate out there puts me at ease. I am praying for guidance from God because our options are pretty pitiful. In the meantime if we want America to return to God, WE (Christians) must go out and preach the Gospel, daily walk in an upright and righteous (not self-righteous) Christ-like manner and disciple people. Salvation is a work of the heart and soul, not an act of Congress or a Presidential directive.
God bless you all,
Carmela

Excellent article. We are living in days in which the church is for the most part the "average Joe". Go to the website "Jihad Watch.org" and " Militant Islam Monitor.org" and maybe you will see articles that newspapers will not print. They are afraid...PERIOD! Also go to "American Congress For Truth" or "Act For America". This is Bridgette Gabriel's site and you will glean this astute ladies observations. Trust eyes will be opened to what is going on in the U.S. and around the world. We are living in exciting times. Keep on your knees. There is NO substitute for prayer!!!

Why That Atheist Rant?

Why are you recommending that atheist rant? The author founded the "Atlas Shrugged" web site. That is the title of the best-known book by atheist philosopher and author Ayn Rand. The author hates all religion, and while she attacks Obama now, you folks are next on her hit list, let me assure you!

To say He Is a born again Christian Is not the truth who said that he is a born again Christian? If He was A born Again Christian, My bible says he is against sin. He Advocates abortion and The Homo sexual lifestyle. These are sins according to the bible
The Muslims will lie to get what they want. That is a known fact.
Jimmy Carter Took the United States backwards and was just a figure head for a president. A Laughing stock. People were always making fun of his stupidity.
When I Vote I want God to approve of my vote.
That is how a Christian should think according to The Bible.

Stop the Bigotry

I'm not sure that I could vote for Obama, as much as we desperately need a new direction in Washington. The Iraq invasion was a disaster - disastrous to the USA, disastrous to millions of iraqis, and - in the long haul - disastrous for Israel. I salute the current effort to have two states, Jewish and Palestinian, live together in peace. It can be achieved if the USA is evenhanded. Otherwise, Israel eventually will be overwhelmed.
As for raising the Muslim issue in regard to Obama, if anyone has read his books they knoew the full story. I am a bit uncomfortable with his pastor, frankly, but he went out of his way to afirm Israel at the AIPAC conference.
Mr. Geller should know something about prejudice, bigotry and lies. Please don't direct whem against this young, talented American. The USA has had much too much of this in the past, and must move on to be a truly open and democratic society.

It really does not matter if he says he is a "born again christian." Does Jesus know him as a born again? Is there ample fruit in his life to demonstrate he is a regenerated, formerly dead sinner? The terrible words of Matthew 7 should scare anyone into asking themselves if they are truly saved. For Obama, a quick and then slow read of 1 John would be very important, starting with the words. "If we say..." Yes, we must practice discernment, especially in these times.

When Obama was sworn in he had his hand on two bibles. God says in the Christian bible if you are luck warm I will spit you out of my mouth. A Christian has no doubts who he is. This man is Muslin and if he is elected Pres. well if you think we have problems now you have not seen any thing yet. Rome was destroyed from the out side , it was destroyed from with in by out sider. This nation will fall from the outsider we are letting take control of this country.
