I will probably pick up "The Design of Life" real soon because of this. Amazon is a hotbed of these kinds of Darwiniacs. That third reviewer, as a good representative of the Darwiniacs' failed response to the claims of ID, particularly Michael Behe, doesn't even bother to write a critically considered, civil, and well-supported argument, hiding under the cover of "many others have beaten me to it". What? And they think that ID is just an argument from ignorance? Yet they do not bother to offer any honest, thoughtful, or logical critique. All they do is belittle and insult. By far all the Darwiniac critics of ID do is attack a straw man of ID, or do not address the specific, valid scientific claims (Behe's 'irreducible complexity' is one example). Christians have nothing to fear from evolutionists and atheist propagandists like Richard Dawkins. After you understand their tactics, their interpretations of the evidence, and their own false view of Christianity and the Bible, there is nothing there besides the same worn-out lies distributed by anti-Christians for 2,000 years.

Intelligent Design Should Prove Creation

In Exodus 20:9-11, God told Moses that He created the Heavens and the Earth in six days and rested on the sevnth day which is why He wanted the children of Israel to honor the Sabbath and keep it Holy. God was so strict on setting a day aside for himself that He provided a regular supply of Mana five days a week, but doubled it on the sixth day (Exodus 16) throughout their wanderings in the wilderness, until they crossed the River Jordan. If the Lord never meant the days to be literal days, He would've done things differently.
The Earth is older than the Sun, Moon, and stars because they were not created until the fourth day. This, no doubt, has added fuel to the fire of evolution because scientists can't understand how the creation account in Genesis could be correct when stars range anywhere from 4 light years to millions of light years and light travels 186,000 miles a second or around 6 trillion miles a year. How could Adam and eve possibly have seen the constellations if the light from some of the stars would take thousands of years or more?
I believe that God miraculously arranged the starlight so people could see the stars from the beginning without having to wait the normal amount of time it would take each one to reach us. He did this like an artist would on a painting except the dots on God's black cosmic canvas are emitting light and radiation. If God could take dust that we often see blowing in the wind and change it into a man with solid bones, skin, hair, blood vessels, and the ability to reproduce, (Genesis 2:7) and then made a woman from one of his ribs (Genesis 2:21-25), he didn't have any problem allowing human beings on Earth to see the stars without having to wait.
Hebrews 11:1,3, and 6 says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things that are seen were not made of things which are visible...But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
Intelligent Design is like the finger print of God because it verifies His handiwork. God created everything out of nothing and Intelligent Design simply shows how well organized the entire universe works from the smallest sub particle to the largest galaxy. We can see something and gather a pattern similar to a schematic/ blueprint, but we would never be able to copy God because He started out with nothing at all. Even scientists who doubt the existence of our Divine Creator conclude that the Universe isn't eternal and had to have a beginning and they claim it all started with a "big Bang" but fail to point out where the material came from to cause the so called "Big Bang." After all, every explosion needs certain componants: otherwise, nothing eould happen. The Big Bang is a MYTH because this explosion could never have originated from NOTHING. The universe will end with a Big Bang (2 Peter 3:10-13).
Although certain individuals have tried to discredit the 7 day week of creation by taking verse 8 literally, their scheme is foiled because of Exodus 20:11 because our LORD never told Moses He made everything in 6,000 years and rested for 1,000 years. Had He meant it this way, He would've commanded the chgildren of Israel to work 1,000 years and rest 1,000 years just like he did. I seriously doubt God had His two fingers crossed behind His back while talking to Moses. For God to mean something different than what He actually said wouldv'e been a lie and a violation of the NINTH Commandment. God wouldn't be Holy and worthy of His name Elohim if He ever lied.
I suggest that people read the Bible for what it says instead of according to our own ideas and doctrine. God created everything from nothing because He spoke and it happened. He is the One Who keeps the universe in order and Intelligent Design simply verifies His handiwork. In the beginning, there weren't any atoms, electrons, protons, or anything at all except GOD.

Dear friend; I appreciate your zeal for God and much of what you say is true. IN THE BEGINNING GOD. God was all that was in the beginning and God created all that there is. Every letter of the Holy Scriptures are true. But are you aware of the source of your interpretation of the creation. The source of this is Aristotle who was a Greek and a heathen. The pope decided that Aristotle was right in the earth centered universe and killed those who disagreed. It was men who sought God on this issue such as Copernicus, Kepler, Galileo, and Newton that were given grace from God to see that the pope was not correct. The universe was not earth centered but heaven centered. Eventually the pope acted he had never been wrong and agreed that the sun was at the center of the solar system. Your whole interpretation is not God or scripture centered but earth centered. You say the earth was created first before the sun cast the light of God upon it. The whole creation was centered around time and not eternity. BUT WHAT DOES THE SCRIPTURES SAY. Can you believe the scriptures or are you unable to. IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH. Notice that the heavens were 1st and then the earth. Look up in the heavens and what do you see; is it not the Sun. Is it not part of the heavens and so it says in Gen 1:1 that it was created before the earth for the stars were created first and the Sun is a star. Does not the whole Bible tell us to take a ETERNAL point of view and not to take a temporal(time) point of view. The focus point of the creation is NOT TIME. The focus point of the creation is the redeeming power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Where is the redeeming power of Jesus in your interpretation. 1 John tells us that any message that does not tell of the redeeming power of Christ is from the anti-Christ. And so it was, the pope. But dear brother look at the redemptions of Jesus Christ in the truth. FIRST ACT OF CREATION THE PHYSICAL 1- There was nothing and Jesus created all. 2- there was darkness and Jesus said let there be light.This was when the sun came on or nuclear fission started 3- there was no earth for it was formless but Jesus caused the earth to form 4- there was no atmosphere to breath so Jesus caused the earth to make the air. 5- there was no land only the seas so Jesus caused the land to form for us. 6-there were no plants to feed life so Jesus said let the earth bring forth plants. they brought forth plants after their kind. those kind are still being brought forth today. what kind is that. the kind that need the light(God) of the Sun to live. this is to show us that we need the light of God to live and not die. 7- the Sun and moon could not be seen from the earth because of all the thick atmosphere so Jesus said let then appear and the air got clear so they could be seen. the light had been coming through for the plants but Jesus wanted everything with eyes to be able to see the Sun and the Moon for very important reasons. this all sprang fro the first act of creation of the Lord. SECOND ACT OF CREATION THE SOUL- 1-this does not say, let there be, but God created again. Jesus CREATED the great sea creatures and the birds 2-there was no life on land so Jesus said LET THE LAND PRODUCE LIVING CREATURES. - THIRD ACT OF CREATION THE SPIRIT - So Jesus breathed the breath of life (or the spirit)into he man. -- it is all about how the Lord Jesus made a place for us NOT TIME.
