WHEN DID WAR, FAMINE, AND DISEASE COME

Dear Friends; everyone is looking for the four horsemen to come right before Jesus returns or right after the rapture depending on their doctrine. The four horse men already came in the garden. The Revelation is not about the future but as the scripture says it is about what was, and is, and is to come. Read the statement by Jeremiah in chapter 28:8 TLB - "The ancient prophets who preceded you and me spoke against many nations, ALWAYS WARNING OF WAR, FAMINE, and PLAGUE. So a prophet who foretells peace has the burden of proof on him to prove that God has really sent him. Only when his message comes true can it be known that he really is from God." - the first time I noticed this scripture years ago it made my jaw drop for it is not what I heard in the church. I asked the Lord about it and he spoke to me and told me to look at the 1st prophecy that I knew of. I turned to Genesis 3:14 So the LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly-( DISEASE) and you will eat dust- ( FAMINE ) all the days of your life. 15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring [a] and hers; he will crush [b] your head, and you will strike his heel."- ( WAR ) 16 To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children.- ( DISEASE ) Your desire will be for your husband, ( FAMINE ) and he will rule over you." ( WAR ) 17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. ( WAR ) 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, ( FAMINE ) and you will eat the plants of the field. 19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." I agree with the article that we are living in the final days before the rapture of the church. In fact I would not be surprised if the rapture took place in 2008. I am not naming a specific date. But the scripture tells us to look up when these things begin to come to pass. Scripture is being fulfilled at an expanitial rate. I am setting a goal to reach family members and friends with the Gospel. I don't want to see any of them left behind. I have a greater burden as each year passes. I pray that the Lord will find us faithful.

What happened to our beloved "Christian President" Killing off all the evil rulers of the world and bringing fourth a geat Christian world? Some extremists have even gone so far as to believe that Christs is returning on Air Force One.
Those who atarted this war by calling for it and blessing the bombs being dropped over there are now claiming they will not be here to reap the bitter harvest they have sown?

The rise of the European Supertate:
Ever since the fall of the Roman Empire, Europe has longed to re unite. Various Kings and leaders have tried to bring this about with little sucess and what was achieved didn't last. Two Deployments to Europe in the 80's has shown me that the Isolationists were right. George Washington was right when he warned "Stay out of the affairs of Europe!" When we entered WW1, we helped plant the seeds of WW2. When we entered WW2, we only posponed the inevitable.
Rise of the Far East: Like Europe, the Pacific Rim longs to unite. The only dispute is over which nation is to lead it.
4 WESTPAC's have shown me that the three dominant nations are Japan, Korea, and China. All the other Far East nations are looked upon by them in the same manner we look upon the nations south of our border.
Once again, when we entered WW2, we knocked Japan off the top only to have China take the lead. Once again, we posponed the inevitable and allowed one nation to take the lead over what would have been another.
Global Government and religion: It would appear that the entire world is lving out the Book of Judges. Everybody is doing what is right or wrong in thier own eyes. Fed up with the kaos this kind of behavior leads to, the world, like the Jews before them cries out "Send us a King! One who will rule and judge over us!"
Decline of the US. : Empires decline, it is inevitable. One can only fan the flames of patriotism for so long until the fire can no longer be fueled, recouces run out, and people want to eat of the fruits they worked so hard to plant. We, who like to call ourselves free have a habbit of blaming government for not protecting us from our own stupidity. Weather it is the crash of 1929, the Dot Com meltdown, or the present Morgage crisis, in each case, the masses violated some basic laws of economics. It is "The will of the people" to have: Plenty of cheap gas without any oil wells in thier own back yard. An 8,000 lb. slab faced Hummer which gets 50 MPG @ 8 MPH. Plenty of electricty without any smike stacks or nuclear power plants. The government providing more and more services while fighting a war and tax cuts.
A war one can cheer on but not have to actually serve in and risk getting killed.
History repeats its self, nothing is ever really new.

Weapons proliferation: It turns out that Oppenhiemer, who was the key man in the Manhattan project was right. The entire purpose of this program was to counter a similar program everybody thought the Nazis were working on. When it was discovered that the Nazis were never even close to developing a nuclear weapon, Oppenhiemer wanted to scrap the program warning that to continue would open a Pandoras box of nuclear proliferation.
Jeruslem: The nation we know as Isreal today was founded by Humans. When one tries to advance Gods agenda on ones own, we see what happens. The Arabs are products of Abrahan using Hagar to bring about Gods plan on his own.
The Magag Invasion: I never dreamed that such an invasion could be triggered by Jewish and Western arrogance but if the neocons have thier way, they will trigger events that will lead to such a war.
The Rise of Islam: First, the world prefers darkness so people will tend to embrace a lie over the truth. The second contributing factor has been the lukewarmness of our Churches. When the vices of the world inside our Churches are little if any different than those on the outside, we have nothing to offer.

Magog Invasion

I would like to supplement this part of the article by referring to Revelation 20:7-10. When the thousand years are finished, satan is released from his prison. The final and worst persecution by anti christian forces opposing the Church on earth is instigated by satan himself. The devil musters Gog and Magog for a final attack upon "the camp of the saints, the beloved city." The expression "Gog and Magog" is from the book of Ezekiel. In Ezekiel, the oppression of God's people refers to the terrible persecution under Antiochus Epiphanes, ruler of Syria. The book of Revelation uses this period of affliction as a symbol of the final attack of satan and his hordes upon the Church on earth. In the Revelation, Gog and Magog symbolize world wide opposition to the Church just preceding Christ's second coming. This opposition will be world wide. This is NOT a physical warfare pitting certain nations against others. The New Testament does not contain any predictions which apply to certain specific present day nations or states. This final battle describes the struggle between the Church and the world. The era during which the Church is a missionary organization is not going to last right up until the second coming of Christ. I think we can already see the deterioration of the missionary effort in many countries today. I believe satan is already having his little season. (Revelation 20:3). George Cancilla

This is in response to George Cancilla. Contrary to your well written missive, The battle of Gog and Magog is a physical battle that occurs in and around Israel. It is a battle that could only occur after 1948, verses 7&8 of Ez. 38 clearly shows that. It will involve a coalition of Russia, PPersia(Iran), Ethiopia, Libya, East Europe (possibly germany) and Turkey and the "istan" nations. It is an invasion to take a spoil and prey and God destroys the invaders and causes a revival amopngst Jews and Gentiles. The gog , magog of Rev. 20 is worldwide and not limited as Ez. 38 is. It also has different motivations and a differing end. Sorry to yoiur position but the Bible clearly shows these are two seperate conflicts.

I have been following the daily news with regaurd to prophecy for 11 years.
The End Times scenarios are taking place at an ever increasing pace. I try very hard to keep up with this kind of news and not let any get by me without notice.
All categories are moving toward the final climax of the Raputre and eventually the return of Jesus Christ to the Earth.
Nothing would surprize me!
My overall sense of things is that I am waiting for the second shoe to drop anytime now!
