Rick Warren has done very, very little to glorify God with his books and other ambitious projects; but has done a great deal to glorify himself and his Saddleback "Church." He is not alone in this regard here in the U.S. with what could be quite accurately described as antics of the antichristian Babylonian "church" and the deception of false prophecy in the Bible and especially the book of Revelation. There are several characteristics and duties described in the Bible, but none of them include "politician." This grandstanding of compassion for AIDs victims is so transparent and smacks of the Scriptural error Jesus spoke of: "But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine allms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:3-4). As far as associating with homosexuals, the Bible is very clear: "For many shall be lovers of self, covetous, BOASTERS, ...Without natural affection...Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY."
