These two illustrations speak to importance of knowing the position and character of the candidates. It seems all forms of media have some bias on their reporting, true some do better than others. I have always held that it is difficult to truly judge someone’s character unless you know them personally but that is not possible in most cases regarding politics. However, as a believer, I can ask God to reveal to me through his spirit that person who will best serve our country for his glory.
I would ask that my Christian brothers and sisters consider how each of the candidates platforms line up with God’s word.
Please do not vote for a person because of their party affiliation or because they have the best chance at defeating an opponent. I would rather leave the results to my father in heaven knowing I chose the person best suited to honor him.

So, we are supposed to endorse the GOP reguardless of what they stand for? More bombs & bullets in the name of Christ?
Sorry, but God is not the mascott for any political party. The GOP is little different and the Gospel does not stand or fall on any election in any nation.
To tell the truth, persecution is just what the Church needs in order to purify it. If it is true, we shall see if you or any of your bretheren have the courage to go to jail rather than compromise. If this nation elects an American version of jezabel, so be it. Our current evil emporor deserves to lose.

The author of this garbage should grow up and get a life. We are presently under the rule of the worst president in history. We have lost far more freedom under this president than any in history, yet the author feels that Clinton will be worse. I can hardly see a worst president than Bush. Maybe we need a law that will protect us from people like this author. You will always have your free speech, that will never be taken away no matter what your little mind can dream up about the future. You will always be able to speak your mind. But so will everyone else, no matter what their opinion may be.
By the way, you may think I am a Clinton supporter, but I am not. I am a supporter of free and equal speech and not the hate that this author feels she need to spew.

Obviously, the author is trying to exaggerate to make a point. It's the "slippery slope," "nose in the tent" type of argument. Give 'em and inch, and they'll take a mile, etc... We have to be ever diligent, in big things and in small.
What was the first income tax rate in America - 1/2%, or something like that? I can easily imagine a writer writing a piece such as this, where at some point in the future he has been jailed for not paying his 25% income tax. Of course, he was laughed to scorn for writing such an over-the-wall piece. And yet, where do we find ourselves today? Big changes generally come little by little - Not all at once.
My experience has been that once elected, our dream Presidents are never as good as we thought they would be, and our nightmare Presidents are never as bad as we thought they would be. Nevertheless, they do make changes, and small changes built up over time result in big changes. Hillary will not outlaw Christianity, but something she or any other President does may one day lead to it. Do you think America is immune to what has happened in so many other countries? We are not immune.
By all means, act to support your candidate, but then pray for God to direct the heart of whomever wins the election.
I currently am undecided on whom I will support, if any. I know that God can even use a donkey to fulfill His plans, if He is so inclined. (That was not directed a Democrats. But now that it has occurred to me, I admit I may use it in that way in the future; if I'm not in jail.)

I totally agree! If Hillary Clinton is elected, I'm afraid our nation will be in big trouble. And as you say, the only way to beat her is to nominate a Republican candidate who's not just like her.

We cower behind the government and its military industrial complex in fear that some guy dressed like lawrence of Arabis is going to force us all to bow towrds Mecca.
We cringe at the thought of an American version of Jezzabel getting elected and support the other party who only pays lip service to Christian principles but turns out to be the same drug addicted perverts as thier counterparts on the left. Who is more honest? The one who openly claims the right to sin or one who self rightiously decries it in public only to practice it in private? Even within the walls of our own Churches, the vices of the world are little different. We boast of our power but our fruits are the same as those of the unbelievers.
