Huckabee? He is APOSTATE!

I am surprised and shocked that any who consider themselves to be servants of Christ could even CONSIDER Huckabee!
The man is from the pit of hell, itself!
There is only one choice that a true follower of Christ could possibly conscience in the coming election: Dr. Ron Paul
I mourn for those who mistakenly think Huckabee is to be considered as anything other than a NEGATIVE option.

Why don't you check Huckabee's record before describing him as a conservative? He is very pro-illegal alien.
When Huckabee was governor of Arkansas, state spending increased 65 percent above his predecessor BILL CLINTON. Making Slick look like a tightwad by comparison is quite a feat, and Huckabee also raised taxes substantially.
In Ron Paul, there is finally a candidate with a decades-long track record of honesty and total fidelity to the Constitution. Name another politician who refuses to collect a six-figure pension on principle.
Why do Christians like to be duped by phonies and doubletalkers such as George W. Bush, Mitt Romney and Huckabee? Check a candidate's record. It's what they do and have done that counts. Talk is less than cheap.

| Posted On: 10/31/07 10:48:32 PM | | Age 47, WI | The dirt is starting to pour in on Huckabee. It turns out he is a darling of the one-worlder group, the CFR, recently writing an article for the gang who supports merging the U.S. into a New World Order (effectively destroying America as an independent nation). He gives the standard "kill the Islamofascist Ayrabs" line. He speaks of promoting "diversity". He wants perpetual nation building to be our foreign policy. He wants foreign public schools and job training (at U.S. taxpayer expense).
Our "Values Voter" top candidate matches Slick Willie in values almost as well as he does in spending taxpayer's money. He was officially reprimanded five times and investigated nine other times as Governor of Arkansas for ethical violations, using tens of thousands of taxpayer's dollars for his own personal use. He and his wife had the gall to set up a wedding registry as a way to collect gifts on their way out of office to furnish their new $525,000 home. That's worse than the Clintons stealing the silverware.
Then we have his sweetheart deals to attract illegal aliens to work low-paying jobs in Arkansas. Of course his support of the right of aliens to VOTE in America also effectively destroys America as an independent nation. We would be a puppet of the rest of the world. They could vote away our religious freedom, free speech, right to bear arms, and whatever else they wanted.
If Huckabee is being held up as a "Values Voter" candidate, then God help us, we have really lowered our standards. Click here to reply to this post

Good article. It is clearly time for conservatives to support Huckabee. It is also clearly time for conservative leaders such as Dobson to support Huckabee. What is everyone waiting for?

I usually agree with Janet, but I happened to hear Huckabee on the first values voters debate hosted by Joseph Farah, and at that time he hemmed and hawed on amnesty and border security. He was trying to ride the fence at that time. Clearly he has had a campaign trail conversion, and I trust those as much as I do jail house conversions. Today I learned the reason for this: Huckabee is in Tyson's pocket. He recently whole heartedly endorsed employers hiring illegal aliens and he specifically endorsed Tyson foods when they were caught doing this. Methinks he speaketh with a forked tongue.
Janet, with all due respect, instead of mentioning how little traction Hunter has had, why didn't you do the right thing and endorse Hunter? We all know that Hunter never waffled on border security.
Mark my words: Mike will not be much different from Bush on border control!
You have been blind sided. The Bible has an apt description for America: the dog returns to its vomit!

Janet - I agree completely with your article. I am so afraid that Republicans will be forced to vote either for the "devil we know" (Rudy) or the "devil we don't know" (Romney). One's "dirty laundry" is out there for the world to see and the other's is covered up by a "slick Willie" campaign. I am completely confused as to why the "religious right" is not supporting Mike Huckabee when he is everything that we values voters are looking for in a candidate. We don't need a third party, we just need to support an honest conservative Christian who is likable also! I like Mike!

He also has liberal environmental ideas. His spending as Governor of Arkansas makes Bill Clinton look frugal and conservative. He also said he'd violate the Constitution (the one he would take a vow to uphold) "in a heartbeat". The only honest Christian conservative candidate is RON PAUL. Click here to reply to this post

Mrs. Folger, I note that you don't mention Duncan Hunter or Ron Paul, positive OR negative. What's your take on them?--Mrs. Pilgrim

Forget about Huckabee AND Romney. Ron Paul is the only candidate worth voting for.

| Posted On: 10/26/07 01:22:21 PM | | Age 20, WA | I don't think so...Ron Paul is against a constitutional amendment defining marriage, and his spineless, Democrat-sounding stance on the war is an insult to our troops. He will never win the nomination, either-he drew more boos from the audiences at the debates than Hillary.
Also Libertarians are actually pretty liberal in areas like regulating the Internet and keeping drugs and pornography out of our society. I don't know about Ron Paul personally when it comes to these, except he has said he was against Internet filtering mandates.
Ron Paul will not win the nomination either, since he has offended too many people with his stances on the above issues, so he might run on the Libertarian ticket, which, if he does, is certain to throw the election in Hillary's favor.
Nope...Ron Paul is not the man he says he is, and he's a definite danger to getting a real conservative like Mike Huckabee to the White House. Click here to reply to this post

| Posted On: 10/31/07 11:15:35 PM | | Age 28, WI | 1) He opposes a constitutional amendment against gay marriage because his goal is to make the federal government smaller. It is NOT the federal government's place to decide what people should do in their personal lives. An amendment like that should be left up to the states.
2) His stance on the war is right-on, NOT spineless, and it's NOT an insult to our troops, it's out of respect to our troops. Have you ever been in the military? If not, then you have no basis on which to speak about whether or not he's insulting the troops. If he were, he wouldn't have as much strong support from the rank-and-file military (the ones that actually matter) that he does. His foreign policy stances aren't pulled from his rear-end, they're derived from people in the CIA, from the 9/11 Commission Report, and other sources. He has read and done his homework, I think you should try doing the same.
3) Boos at the debates? Is that really what you base your vote on? If so, all I can say is wow.
4) Internet filtering IS NOT a good idea, at least not in the way the Washington elites and corporate America have envisioned it. Learn more about internet regulation before you try and promote it. Yes there are bad things on the internet, but there are bad things everywhere. Regulating the internet will only end up benefiting corporations, because they will ultimately have control, just like they do over the puppets in Washington (and your boy Huckabee). Ron Paul is about freedom, and internet regulation strips people like you and I of that freedom. If you think internet regulation is going to stop pornography and drugs, you are DEAD WRONG.
5) Ron Paul hasn't "offended" anybody, at least not anybody with enough sense and ambition to educate themselves with facts. If you had done any research, you would see that Ron Paul IS the man he says he is, because his voting record proves it. You have him confused with Huckabee, who is a corporate puppet and would love to dissolve the U.S. into a one-world government (read the book of Revelation lately?). Don't be fooled by Huckabee's title of "minister". He is a phony, plain and simple. Do some REAL research on him and you'll learn it quickly. Click here to reply to this post

| Posted On: 10/26/07 07:54:31 PM | | Age 47, WI | We have gotten so far away from our foundation it's incredible. The Constitution grants the Federal gov't less than two dozen specific powers - AND NO MORE - ALL other powers are reserved to State and local gov't.
Rep. Paul does not support things like drugs and pornography, he believes they should not be dealt with by the federal leviathan - which is TRUE. Murder and rape are dealt with by local law enforcement, local courts, and local gov't. Does that mean we support murder and rape because there is no federal amendment for them?
If a State makes a bad decision, it would be limited to that State. If we give the fedgov the power, their bad decisions affect everybody. That's why the whole country is affected by liberal slants on abortion and sodomy today.
The more power we give the the Fedgov, the more dangerous it is. Power we give them now, a President Hillary will wield someday.
Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who understands what made America great, free, and MORAL. The Constitution has the solution. Individual liberty and federalism (more power at local levels). Click here to reply to this post

Where is everyone? Asleep? We can't be asleep in this election! Let's get behind the man who stands up for what's important to us. If not... we will soon get what we deserve. I live in PY where to the north Chavez is creating a New World for VZ - a communist one. To the left of my country is another crazy. If Hillary gains the presidency our world is going to change faster than we could've ever believed possible. Where I live I can't get involved in politics. But where I am a citizen you better believe I'm going to cast my vote for Huckabee.
