Pastor Dewaay,
I thank you so much for your articles. I have also read your book Understanding the Purpose Driven Movement, and bought it for my pastors. I believe this movement is responsible for much of the problem in our churches today. I am so disheartened at how many churches are becoming so seeker sensitive that they think we draw others to Christ by osmosis and good feelings about Christians, community, and God's love for them, but without sharing the imporant essentials about Christ's death, diety, resurrection, and God's wrath and disdain for our lukewarm living and sin. We cannot be saved without understanding and accepting the full Gospel. And we can remain strong in our walk with Christ without being in His constant word and in prayer. We need pastors to build us up and guide us with all truth and preaching in this ever increasing world of self exaltation, disdain for God, and love of sin.
I have struggled desperately to find a church that is not afraid to preach the gospel and make me challenged and uncomfortable about my sin.
I pray God greatly blesses your ministry. I thank you for blessing and challenging me, and enlightening me to the truth about the state of our churches and our own hearts today.

Keep the faith!
Bob, thanks for your study and the most 'relevant' subject that needs to be taught, the preaching of 'God's Gospel'! It comes from Him and belongs to Him and we don't get to change it without being heretics. I look forward to part two.
