The false religions are becoming so popular in our nation. Why do you never hear the Hindu gods being used as a curse word. Why is it you never have heard the name of Allah or Mohammad being used as curse words. Why not name of Joseph Smith or Charles Russel. Because cursing comes from the devil and not from God. The Devil knows that the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only Name by which men can be saved so he inspires them to curse this Name and no other name. The reason the Name of Jesus Christ is cursed is because it is the only Name by which men can be saved. Lou

How do people get to know about Jesus, except through religion?

People are not born with the knowledge of Jesus, they are taught it in church on Sundays and in Sunday school. They need to go to Sunday school and church on Sunday or else they would be ignorant of Him. The problem is that Christians are not given a choice to attend church - it's a sin as great as murder to not keep holy the Sabbath day - so they continue going to church to avoid an alternative worse than death: hell.

Dear Brother you say;"so they continue going to church to avoid an alternative worse than death: hell." Going to church is good but it never has saved one soul from hell. The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only thing that saves. Do you think if I go to your church that your presence can compare to the blood of Jesus Christ or the Guidance of the Holy Spirit. Abraham never went to church and is called the father of our faith. Enoch, Noah, Jacob, Gideon, David, Ruth, Elijah, never went to church and were very holy men used of God more mighty than any man I know. I did not go to church and was saved in my house and baptized in the Holy Spirit. We are told by Jesus in the Bible that the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit but now you add not going to church as a sin that God will not forgive. I know many good men who love the Lord Jesus Christ that do not go to church. But they do read the scripture and follow the Holy Spirit. I have met many preachers that don't seem to even read the scriptures by their ignorance. I have met many people who love Jesus that go to church also. I have been a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ for 33 years and have went to church maybe 10 of those years and not going did not hurt my walk with the Lord but it was harder. I would have liked to gone to church but all the churches I went to made my walk harder and did not help at all. So I stayed home and read my Bible, prayed, and sang, and worshiped the Lord at home. I received just as many revelations, healings, and presence of the Lord Jesus at home as I did in church. I do not recommend this but just say what happened to me. It is the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ that is necessary for a person to be lead by the Lord. Lou

Lou - I compared keeping holy the Sabbath day to murder, not blasphemy. Matthew 5-19: "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven..." I didn't say anything about forgiveness, but you seem to be saying that some sins are OK as long as you ask for forgiveness afterward. Which sins are OK to do and then ask for forgiveness?
Also, if the "blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only thing that saves," then why do people bother with all this other stuff like going to church?

All sin is sinful and grieves our Lords Holy Spirit. So why would any Christian sin as a casual thing. No sin is not sinful of course. If you was a very poor man man and I came to you and gave you a brand new Rolls Royce what would you do. If you was a proud man and did not want to receive the car as a gift but still wanted the car, would it not be an insult to offer to pay for the car with a dollar. The car cost$300,000 and it would be better to admit it was a gift than to insult my gift as to imply it was only worth a dollar. What could you add to the blood of Jesus Christ. Are you saying that the blood of God is not enough to pay for all sin. What can you give in payment for sin. you can chose for yourself what to trust in. But I will choose to trust in the Blood of the Lamb. Read the book of Galatians and see that Paul says that if you trust in Christ and anything else to save you then Christ can not save you. Paul says that you can not trust in Christ and circumcision or you will be lost. you can put anything in the place of circumcision and it is the same, for Christ can not save you if you do not trust in Him alone to save you. Are you saying that Jesus Christ is not trustworthy. Name something that is trustworthy except Jesus Christ. You will have to come and put a marker on my grave "HERE LIES LOU RUINED BECAUSE HE TRUSTED IN CHRIST ALONE". Lou
