Further proof that it is impossible to "elect" righteousness. The only hope we have as a nation is a genuine spiritual revival.

| Posted On: 07/18/07 06:42:06 PM | | Age 61, LA | I agree that we can not elect righteousness; I wish that God would send us a Jonah; however, unlike the ancient city of nineveh or modern day Mosul, few in america would listen and repent as did the whole nation city state of nineveh did and jugedment was withheld by God.
Many of the giants of preaching are getting older and dying off; so many apostate cults are spring up, and things seem to get worse in the world day by day, Israel in its most dangerous position since 1948 and our country in such biblical ignorance and immorality, well, I doubt that if one of faith were to raise up and run, who but a remenant would vote for him.
I agree with you that we should pray for revival and send the billy sundays and others forth to call the lost to salvation while it is yet still light.
I will ask 5 new friends to pray for our country and ask them to find 5 they know to pray, maybe that way, we invest a small amount and reap a bushel of mercy upon our land.

I'd like to repeat a couple of sentences from the article that are right on target: "To believe that the Bushes and Clintons are political and philosophical opponents is the height of absurdity. Both have the support and do the bidding of the international elite." If the candidates are not already bought by these international elite before the elections, then it is my surmising that they will be bought once they are in office. There is nothing in this world we can do about it, but I truly believe that God will protect those who resist playing the game, and who do not feign ignorance about this matter. Non violent, non participation is the solution. God will take care of the rest. George Cancilla
