This is an excellent and very informative article, but you left out a huge milestone in the progression of America's religious life. In 1963, or '65, I'm not sure of the exact year, America OUTLAWED prayer in our public schools. Before that, a beautiful stream of praise and worship would ascend to the throne of God every weekday from the mouths of babes, the most innocent of the earth. Over night, THE LEADERS OF OUR GOVERNMENT stopped that, outlawed it. Is this a wonderful christian nation, or what?Look at how this fits into your timeline, and the acceleration of it's progression. a brother in christ
