Thank you for this inspiring article. I read so much of all that is frightening and your article reminded me of what God does each day for us and our nation. Most of the time we don't even know the miracles He does for us. It must grieve His heart to see what we have become.

Actually, is was on May 10th of 1940, not May 1st.
On that day (Fall Gelb) Nazi Germany was attacking the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

Our own fear, arrogance, and cowering behind the self serving military industrial complex reviels our own lack of faith if not outright opostasy. Christians should have led the way in not showing fear. Instead, it is the so called evangeliecals who cry out the loudest that if we don't bomb them into submission, we will all be bowing towards Mecca. Did not Christ teach that we are not to fear those who can only destroy the body?

You are of course, assuming that it is the Lords will that the status quo continue. That "This great christian nation" continue in it current course and that we continue our domestic policies which more clo9sely resemble a slouch towards Gomorra than it does speading the light of the Gospel. And while overcome with our own degrading passions, we continue to impose our ways upon the Islamic World. Tearing down Shria alw and replacing it with out Grace as an excuse to sin doctrine.
The Lord has his plan. HE is in control and nobody has the gift of Prophecy where they can say "Thus sayeth the Lord"!
We do however have Scripture and Biblical precident shows that God is no very kind to nations in our state of arrogance, depravity, and faith in its military and institutions. The one shinning light is that Rome (Italy), Spain, England, and even Germany, along with all the other so called "Christian Empires" Have been given a soft landing when the Lord took away thier lamp and knocked them off of the pinacle of power. Every Pagan Empire which existed before the so called "Holy Roman Empire" has been completely wiped out. Who today calls themselves a Persian, Babylonian, Assyrian, or even a Roman? And yet, we still have British, Spanish, French, and Germans. All who were once dominant empires in thier time. Hopefully, as we continue in our arrogance, apostasy, and debauchery, The Lord will give us the same soft landing he has given to the so called Christian Empires before us.
