Good article. I never knew about Dunkirk until now. It would seem that something this miraculous would at least have been mentioned in our schoolbooks. But alas, we are only trained in the parts of history that secular humanism wants us to know. Very sad.

VERY Sadly, today, Thursday, July 12, 2007, the prayer will be offered over the Senate by a Hindu, quoting at least three scriptures from their so called "sacred writings." We know from the Holy Scriptures that prayers offered to any other god, but the True and Living God, are prayers offered to demons. ("Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons.
1 Corinthians 10:20)
PLEASE AGREE IN PRAYER WITH ME:
In the Holy and Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, the Name which is above every other Name, we declare that these prayers to the Hindu gods or any other so called god(s) are nulified by the blood of Jesus through the power of the Holy Sprit, the same Spirit Who raised Jesus Christ from the dead. We declare that those present will see visions and dream of the True and Living Creator God, and His Eternal Son, Jesus. We ask these thing in the Mighty, Holy, Precious, and Powerful Name of Jesus, our Messiah, we pray. Forever "Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the LORD." Amen

A modern example of the Israelite nation and turning their backs on God for the idols of the inhabitants. God's hand of blessing was on them as long as the Israelites served only Him, but His hand of blessing was released thus enabling their enemies to subdue them, enslave them, and slaughter a great number of them. But when they confessed their sins, and humbly worshiped the Lord again, God would raise up a leader to lead them in battle against their enemies and give them rest again- some 40, 80, or how ever many years they decided to be faithful to God.
Our sons are in Iraq, and I wonder how many unexpected sand storms God has sent as a barrier between our troops and the enemies. Our sons would say, "This or that procudure was cancelled due to a severe 3 day sand storm.

The fact that the worlds most expensive military ever created cannot subdue a nation the size of one of our 50 states after 5 years and 3/4 of a trillion dollars is more proof that the Lord is NOT on our side. Since when do Christians cower behind a self serving military industrial complex?
Mt 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One c who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Since when are we commanded to build wonder weapons with money we don't really have and "Liberate" the world into our permissivness?
2Co 10:4 The weapons we fight with f are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power g to demolish strongholds. h

I believe we all need to return to our first true Love Jesus, and the word of God, depending totally on what the word says and building A true relationship with Jesus depending on him totally, for he is the only hope we truly do have our government is not going to be able to truly stand by us it changes day by day and they seem more confused as each day passes by.Depending on Jesus totally and knowing his word never goes void. I truly believe Jesus is our only true hope. For our Father says in his word he will never leave us nor forsake us.

You're right, Marshall... but maybe only partially right. Way too many of us are simply not fully aware of an increasingly dangerous world. Many have also forgotten - that freedom is not free. Both radical Islam and Communism are real... but apparently not real enough. And we have grown soft, gullible and dependent. Not dependent on God... but on government and the media. And the people that we are putting into office, are increasingly profiles in nothing but plain cowardice and just how to get re-elected. But many of our churches are also growing soft, shying away from anything negative or controversial. You know, Marshall... we truly need many more who believe in Him. But we also need them to be strong, real and loving Christians - people who actually behave like Christians men and women in "every" aspect of their lives. And not just people who get up from their soft chairs to volunteer and help out, but also those who are informed and engaged. May God help us all. I pray for His wisdom, for His strength and that ALL local churches would roll up their sleeves, work right and do outreach. In Him, scott.

I cerainly agree whole heartely...if only our goverments...AND OUR CHURCHES will believe that our God is in full control!!!
We were warned about the "Last Days",thus we may be heading towards the end... but we also know that He has the whole world in His hands. Our only hope!!!
