I am reminded of a wise old gentleman's gentle, thoughtful response, when asked about the progress of certain movements in the world that seemingly are designed to destroy Dad's and Fathers. He responded with the point that the One who gives Authority is the One who will decide. Men have their authority from God and it cannot be taken away, no matter what others may do. Men do not have to defend their authority as if it can be taken from them by anyone but God. In response to such attacks, as feminists are wont to give, men have no reason to react other than with a gentle strength that will not be swayed and a love that will never fail.
