Your article disturbs me. I am a graduate of St.Olaf(1956). I met my wife at St. Olaf and four of my five children attended St.Olaf. St. Olaf was very Christian and Jesus Christ was the only way of salvation in the classes I took. A few years ago I recommended St. Olaf to a young woman who graduated in 2006. She had problems with the college pastor who said there were other possible ways of salvation than Jesus Christ. The things you shared in your article no longer surprise me. I am down hearted and find it hard to support St. Olaf now that I have means. What you have said, and now through some of my own experiences, suggest that St. Olaf is confusing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore I am finding it very hard to recommend St. Olaf to my eleven grandchildren who are all college material. I grieve and cry that St. Olaf is no longer qualified to share the goodnews of Jesus in a clear and articulate way.
