Honestly, I think you're overreacting to this just a wee bit. Your tone is completely unprofessional, and you go out of your way to bash crossdressers and bring pedophiles into an argument that does not even involve them. Yes, a lesbian is suing eHarmony, for being discriminated against. And really, why shouldn't she? Christians do the same to organizations that discriminate against them for their beliefs/practices, why can't homosexuals?
The fact of the matter is that while eHarmony's founder is an Evangelical Christian, the users of his site and matching methods do not necessarily need to share his worldview. In fact, many don't. Non-Christians can use eHarmony. eHarmony is a public business, and excluding people for their sexual orientation, beliefs, etc. today, no matter the reason, is considered both "illegal" and "wrong".
While they say it is because there is no long-term data on homosexual couples to factor into their matching process, there in fact is. Not on marriages (obviously) But there are homosexual couples that have lived together for over 30 years. Not many straight couples can even boast that today. Ignorance of fact does not mean said fact does not exist.

But a blatant lesbian, who goes against what Bible-believing Christians believe should not go to a eHarmony, thinking they could find for them a suitable (what, husband?)________! You fill in the blank. It is as unreasonable as a veterinarian being sued because he doesn't artificially inseminate a dog and a cat! It's AGAINST THE BIBLE! I think this "woman" went to eHarmony with the intention of doing exactly what she is---finding an excuse to be in the spotlight as she sues a Christian organization. Click here to reply to this post

To elaborate: eHarmony can't expect to be a public "all"-inclusive dating site and exclude gays without expecting some kind of backlash. They just can't be a "Christian organization" no matter how much they'd like to be now, as their primary purpose is a public business that caters ro people of all faiths, but not sexualities. As for your argument on a veterinarian inseminating a dog with cat semen, it is completely ludicrous. We're talking about discriminating against consenting human beings over the age of 18, not crossbreeding animals. Click here to reply to this post

| Posted On: 06/10/07 12:42:27 AM | | Age 62, TX | I did read what you said; that's why I responded. As to comparing my statement about a veterinarian who is unwilling to cross-breed species, with a person who is unwilling to participate in promoting homosexuality, they parallel in several ways. They are both forbidden in Scripture. They are both unnatural, and go against how each was created and equipped to reproduce. My background is medical, and I could tell you horror stories about the repercussions of the homosexual lifestyle, but this is not an appropriate place. Perhaps you would just consider thinking of the reproductive system as "clean," and the gastroINTESTINAL system as "unclean." Besides, have you never considered that just any old thing done by "consenting human beings over the age of 18" is NOT fair game and just fine with GOD! How about if they both decide to do a murder-homicide? It involves no one but them, but that doesn't make it right in God's eyes. Bottom line; both the OT and the NT say homosexuality is WRONG in very strong language, and there is no argument that will change that. Argue with God, not me. Click here to reply to this post

Way to go, Janet! God bless you for using your intellect and writing skills to tell the truth and expose lies. Keep up the good fight. A whole generation needs the Truth which can set them free.

"The American Psychological Association recently published a study favorable to pedophilia – you know, child molestation. If you call it "Adult-child sex," it doesn't sound as bad."
So is it any wonder when Christians say Psychology is not compatible with Christianity?
I go even further and declare Psychology is the religion of the world, that religion spoken of in Revelation that justifies the murders of Christians as "haters" and not in union with the Global Governance that Newt seems to be so gung-ho for.
Bottom line here on the Hate Crimes bill?
If you don't speak up someone will speak for you. And what will be said in your name will not be what you believe, it will be Psychology.
