Praise the Lord for this incredible article and how I feel the very same. I grew up the same way and never felt repentance until my son revealed to me our depravity and lostness. We brought our children up in this manner and now KNOW the truth. I am so grateful for your words and outreach about this horrible heresy in our preaching today. It is left out of the church and so many think they are saved and are going straight to hell. I was one of them. Thankyou for your concern for the lost. God Bless you!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your article. I wonder how many people attend church all their life without being aware of this "syndrome" of being false converts to Christianity. And yet, it is by no means a new syndrome. Many sermons and articles have been directed to this subject over the past centuries (eg, one example is Philip Mauro's The Christian's Choice: Self-Life or Christ-Life. Which? based on 2Cor. 5:14, 15). The Puritan writings quite often allude to this problem.
I pray that today's Church may receive another wake-up call. As a mother, I can see the tendencies that our young people have....being brought up in Christian homes, perhaps attending Christian schools...to adopt the easy role of false convert.
Is this not reason enough for the need of Revival in our land? May God send us Revival!
