OK if the idea of presenting a female Adam is to say that God is both male and female then i ask one question: why did jesus refer to God as Father? seems pretty definite to me.

I wonder...do these people believe the lie of evolution? I'd love to ask them. Since most liberals believe that lie, in fact, most people believe that lie, it is likely that they do. Surely they don't believe the Bible which says God created man from the dust of the earth.
And if they are claiming that God took woman out of man what happened to all those stories about primordial ooze and millions and millions of years. Has anybody asked any of these people how their premise jibes with Darwin's lies?

In your article you mentioned a "Debbie Gill" along with these other Emergant messengers. I was wondering if you could give more info on who she is, I know of a Debbie Gill and I hope she is not involving herself with this kind of false teaching. If you could give some clarification I would appreciate it.

A very debatable, minor point for which the Grothuises don't deserve to be thrown under the bus. Consider the entire body of Doug and Rebecca's work, and not just one page from one book. If you do that, you will see that they have borne much fruit for the Kingdom.

This is what happened in Jerusalem right before it's destruction. The women in Jerusalem worshiped the "queen of heaven" and then the destruction came. I go to many churches and I do not hear any church preaching that they need to repent of their sins. They are all preaching that all other churches need to repent of their sins. It might do our brother some good if we humbly point out his sin and we should well do just that. But pointing out the sin of others do us no good at all. The only sin that does me good to see then confess to the Lord Jesus is my sin. What does me good is to get purified from my sin. None of us have attained perfection yet or we would not still be on this earth. We all are all guilty of much sin are we not. I am not immoral by human standards but the closer I get to Jesus the more I see that among sinners I am chief. When Paul got back from his 1st missionary trip he said "of apostles I am least". When he got back from his 2nd trip he said "of saints I am least". But after his 3rd trip he said"of sinners I am chief". You can tell how close a Christian is walking to God by his testimony concerning the state of his sinfulness. I hear a lot of "of preachers I am great". If the church is doing well why are there not miracles and other signs and wonders being told. All I hear is how bad all churches are doing, but no one seems to think that their church is doing anything wrong. The only thing that will bring about change is repentance. And the only repentance that is important to me is my repentance. God will not show his power through the ones who are regarded as wise. Have you not heard that God chooses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. God will not show his power through someone who is highly regarded. Have you not read -7But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. 12So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. Lou
