Most men or women these days would prefer God bring them before Kings or Queens or, Presidents or Five Star Admirals inorder to share the Good News of the Blood of Jesus, explain the Last Days according to the Scriputres, or warn them of Coming Judgement. Very few I think understand the magnitude of your being brought before a man like Dahmer to comfort and encourage, someone who most people (Christians included) believed deserved exactly what it appeared he got in the end. In Eph. 3:18 Apostle Paul prayed that we might be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, and the length, and depth, and height; and to know the Love of Christ which passeth knowledge. Christ's love is big enough to include a repentant man like Jeffery Dahmer. Praise God, but for the grace of God, there go I. We all deserved to die. None of us are worthy except through the precious blood of Jesus. What a wonderful time of year to be reminded of our own sinfulness and depravity if it were not for Jesus, the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the World. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever would believe on Him would not perish but have Eternal Life. Thank you all for, as Christ does, loving the unlovely.

What a joy it was to read that article. In Feb. 1992 when Jeffrey Dahmer was on trial, I saw him on T.V. and my heart broke for him. I cried out to the Lord to send someone to help him. Immediately, the Holy Spirit spoke to my spirit and said: "You write him and tell him of My love and forgiveness. I was filled with compassion and love for Jeffrey, and obeyed the Holy Spirit - writing to him for almost three years. It was a difficult time for me because no one could understand such a thing. My obedience cost me much sorrow as I was reviled by my family. I finally stated: "I will write this kid until he dies or I die. Yes, Jeffrey was truly saved. He sent me 45 letters, books, Bibles, and many thanks for caring for him.
Thank you so much for posting this article.

Excellent article. However, you did give the minister who baptized Jeffrey Dahmer a new last name! His name was Ratcliff, not Cliffton. Hey, the "cliff" part was right! I did double check this on your website to make sure I knew what I was talking about before responding. Still a great article though.
