Great article and timely. I think we need to see more relevent teaching to the society in which we live. What I am really talking about is the apathetic state of Christians today due to their interpretation of the 11th and 12th commands of thou shalt not judge and to be all things to all people. God hates lukewarm christians and the church today is, for the most part, nothing but lukewarm.

Pastor DeWaay, Thank you for taking the time to give us a clear cut Biblical presentation of our duty to be on the lookout for the wolves/hirelings. I greatly anticipate part 3 as I find myself in a situation where church leaders refuse to see the error of their teaching. It is difficult to sit back and say nothing and see God's people being lead down the wrong path. Sometimes it is very difficult to know whether it's time to speak or keep quiet. As with all of your articles this has been a great help.
