Dr. Wiley's Other Comments

Wasnt it Dr. Wiley that said the following when questioned about his involvement in an interfaith conference, "Under no circumstances does my affiliation with any religious organization or any religious leader endorse or give my approval of their beliefs." (Source: http://bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?ID=10741). Has Dr. Wiley changed his position on this?
Is T.D. Jakes speaking at a conference on leadership or sharing the pulpit? Does 2 Cor.6:14 apply here? If you say it does, then you have to say that T.D. Jakes is an unbeliever. Although I agree that Jakes position on the Trinity is wrong, I dont know that I can say he is an unbeliever. Regardless of his position on the Trinity, he is being asked to share his views on leadership. If a church were to have a conference on counseling or church accounting, would every speaker need to agree on the Trinity? DISCLAIMER: This comment is not intended to pick a fight. I really , really, really think this is an excellent topic for us to discuss. Press On, Darren

If Jesus Christ is to be worshipped as LORD and SAVIOUR then He must be GOD, otherwise to worship Him is idolatry. To sincerely believe in error is just as deadly as not believing at all. If one's belief concerning the doctrine of Salvation is wrong, what is one's hope of salvation? Click here to reply to this post

It is difficult to really capture his view on the Trinity so I have a hard time saying he is an unbeliever. Click here to reply to this post
