I read these posts and the thought that comes to mind is that Americans are highly distracted, we all are. Read about the Apostles and the great's of the Bible and you will see they are of single purpose. We are called to be of single purpose- to love God with ALL our hearts, soul, mind and strength...to die to self and to SERVE our neighbors. Yet, in America our information comes in sound bites, our food comes at the drive thru, our kids walk thru the door at 9pm, our sleep comes in 5-6 hour spurts, and our devotion to what's really important suffers. Let's be frank, my specialty, we are too busy chasing the world to save it. Our marriage suffer, our kids suffer, and our society is at the brink of colapse. We must come together for the common purpose- not God, not salvation since these are the works of the HS. Our common purpose is rightousness!! We need to preach, live, and actively DEFEND rightousness always. (2 Chron 7:14) Only then will God restore our land. John

Just as Adam fell from grace so can we as a nation. As a Christian Nation the United States of America’s failure to follow God’s teachings comes with a warning in the prayer from Deuteronomy Chapter 28. First we will ignore all of God’s commands, even taking them out of the court house, turning us into a secular humanist epicurean society. Second the alien among us will rise higher and higher. Then we will serve other gods. The Hindu prayer opening the Senate at the invitation of Democratic Senator Reid was a giant step in this direct. Have you picked a new god yet?
Today, God is testing us as a people just as George Washington lamented “since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered, perhaps, as deeply, as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people...”
God did not and does not provide the nation itself with direct revelations rather GOD working through the Spirit of his son, Jesus Christ provides for freedom of choice for everyone including individual leaders. The people of the nation must choose to follow Christ and elect Godly people to leadership positions. Jesus Christ wants us to fully understand that a true follower of Christ must freely make the choice to follow Him on his own accord as no external force or law will achieve victory over a man’s heart. Adam’s fall from grace proved that. As a Nation of Christian people the United States of America has been used by GOD to apply love and peace to a troubled world. However the political country itself is not the servant of GOD, GOD depends on individuals with faith and religion to obey his teaching with love and understanding as they use their worldly positions to help others and administer justice. The decisions they make should be based on understanding Gods love for his children.
We should look to be used as children of God to reach the world. Do you think God might be saying that if you will not go out I will bring the people to you? Look for the opportunity.

Why is our own government trying to destroy this country? We have enough to worry about (terrorists, North Korea, Iran) without having to worry about our own government turning this GREAT county into an EU wannabe! Our ancestors didn't fight, and die, so this country could be part of some "New World Order"!! As large and bountiful as this country is, just WHO is pushing the idea that we "need to bond" with other countries to survive? We definitly don't need to bond with countries like Columbia, Venezula and MEXICO, whose people are flocking here illegally in droves.

How easy it is to conclude by saying, "God is in control." While that is a true thing, it should not prevent and keep us from speaking out and getting involved in pursuing a resolution to this awful plan. Therefore, please let's stop apathetically concluding, God is in control when we still have the power to do something. Ultimately HE IS in control but don't forget, He has given us free will. Therefore, let us be busy to utilize our God-given freedom and abilities.

I wonder if this is what the first President Bush meant when he said he wanted to create a "new world order"? Is the son finishing something his father started? I have heard many Bible commentators say that it is their understanding that the United States does not figure into the events of the end times, at least not any Biblical reference that can be definitely identified as the USA. I have heard several of them say that it was their opinion that the US would have declined from super-power status before the events of the end times take place. Looking at what is going on with Iran, N. Korea, and now the SPP and our own gevernment just makes me that much more certain that for us, time is short on this earth. I have no doubt that God's plan is unfolding exactly as it should, but it should make all of us that much more determined to carry the Gospel to every person everywhere. Time is short. Let's be busy with God's work!

Just want to point out that this end time scenario is not Gods Plan, but the telling of it in the Bible is God foreseeing what Man will do. He gave dominion of this Earth, over to Man. God sees from the beginning to the End. Man is destroying himself.

God is in control and this day for the United States had to come. It still leaves one with a discomforting feeling that the country who fought so hard for freedom and liberty is walking down a path of destruction. We as Christians also need to stand up and speak up for the freedoms and the liberty God granted this country and bring the Gospel back to the United States of America. We will be persecuted for our faith in Christ and we must prepare outselves for the battles to come for they will come sooner than we all want to believe. President Bush is an instrument of God and His plan for the world to come.

No, we dont need to prepare for any battles; the battles ahead are not for His Children. And no, Bush is not ''Gods man''. He is doing the destruction of satan. I surely hope you know better than to think George is a christian, when his fruits show otherwise.
"bring the gospel back to american''? What does that mean? Imight point out that americans do not want the Gospel; they want their ears tickled. The Gospel didnt go anywhere; its still right here in my bible.

I agree, but you can write all the artcles you want but this is all Gods master plan that has to take place as it is truly written in his Sacred Word. We just need to be ready for that day and not concern ourselves with these matters because we have no control at all and no real say so. Staying in the spirit of the Lord will occupy our souls. We must stay fed in the Word.

Reguardless of your faith---we as Americans can not stand by and let this injustice stand. We have had two presidents who do not represent America. America can not sustain another CFR president.
If you are not up to par on CFR I suggest you get that way.
We are about to loose America --without a shot fired. Sad to say but intertainment is more important than FREEDOM to Americans.
We need to pull our heads out of the sand.
Partys to our politics only divides us.
There are Two partys???think about that!
We vote for representation--but the politicians have cut our choice to who they pick---Not or pick.
We blindly follow party lines. It is time Americans chose from the field--Not Partys.

This will be very bad for the propagation of the Gospel. Our rights to deseminate the Word of God will be curtailed, under threat of monetary penilty or jail time, because our Gospel will not be 'tolerated' by those in positions of power who wish to have us live under Mexican and Canadian laws. A time of persecution will have arrived in America.
