Crisis Always Creates Opportunities For Tyranny
"The Sky is falling, the sky is falling"….What happens to people when they believe "the sky is falling" is quite remarkable. For many the human condition is such that once in a panic, all rational think ing simply disappears. When people believe a disaster is imminent they lose sight of everything including their God given rights. They look around for a leader…any leader that seems to be able to stop the impending catastrophe from occurring. And so we have the history of dictators, despots, and mad men who came to power during crisis.
I am a Jew. When I was a boy I wondered how millions of people could follow a mad man like Hitler. As I got older I also wondered the same about the various communist murderous thugs that people have cheered for and followed. Why would otherwise rational people not see what was coming through the tyrants they so supported and even died fighting for? We can look for a deep philosophical reason. We can study history and write dissertations on the question and yet when boiled down the answer is quite simple. History teaches us why the masses tend to follow tyrannical leaders; fear and despair.
Let's look at the classic historical example of Germany. The Germans lost WWI and not only were defeated militarily (two million German so ldiers killed), they were also defeated morally, and financially. The treaty of Versaille s was signed at the end of WWI. This treaty contained some very painful things for Germany. The territories of Northern Schleswig, Hultschin, West Prussia, Posen, Upper Silesia (coal reserves), Eupen - Malmedy, and Alsace - Lorrian were all taken from Germany. These were industrial areas, and that hurt the post war German economy severely. The German army was reduced to only 100,000 men, allowed only six capital naval ships, and no submarines. Germany was forced to admit guilt in what is known as the "War Guilt Clause" of the treaty and was made to pay reparations to other countries. Germany had no choice. It was either assign the treaty or be taken over by the allies.
Germany signed the treaty of Versailles and after that a series of situations caused great economic hardship. By 1922 the Germans were experiencing hyper inflation after the German government printed more and more money and infused it into the economy. There was a post war recession in many countries and Germany's answer was to increase the amount of money in the economic system…First it seemed to help but this led to disaster (sound familiar?). The psyche of the20nation was severely shaken. This led to a weakening of the government, great bitterness, and the r ise of the Nazi Party.
Hitler used all of this to his tyrannical advantage. The treaty of Versailles, the post war hyper inflation , the German shame of losing the war and losing territory, The German admission of guilt and payment of reparations, and the limit of their military might. Germany was a down trodden country with very little pride left when the insane tyrannical despot leader with excellent oration skills took advantage of the situation. He found a scape goat in the Jewish people, and used the situation to gain power and to whip an entire nation a frenzy with platitudes and promises. And so it goes…and so it goes. How quickly the Germans gave up their rights and even their guns when Hitler ordered the confiscation of all guns belonging to "non party" citizens. We all know the horrific results that came from his takeover (6 million Jews were slaughtered along with many others).
"The sky is falling" is the mantra of the oppressor. It gives him power over the minds of the people. Hitler is just one example, there are many more. We now=2 0live in a time when not only is our own government telling us that the sky is falling, the entire world is sayin g the same as they discuss what to do about it. President Bush who in my view is a traitor to conservatives has told us we must spend seven hundred billion dollars to bail out the financial system. In fact it is more than two trillion that will be infused into the system (again, sound familiar?). The Federal reserve refuses to even tell us who exactly is getting the money, and now the treasury secretary is saying that the money is not even going to go for what Congress approved it for…..The sky is falling so just do what they say and ask no questions….walk around scared and place your trust in those who tell us they are the experts….God help us!
What is happening now is exactly what those of us in the pro- Constitutional movement have been warning about. We true Americans have been as voices screaming out in the wilderness of today's American Post Modern thinking. The world economic crisis is creating an opportunity for tyranny, and our own government has betrayed us. President Bush, John McCain, Nancy Palosi, Harry Reed, and the rest of the enemies of the Constitution have made their world view well known by their actions. Trillions of borrowed money spent on bailouts an d other unconstitutional spending, federal power in education and healthcare, along with many other government interventions with no constitutional authority.
Now guess what? With the insane un-Constitutional policies of our government the sky really is falling and the masses of people are looking for someone to "fix" the problem. Barack Obama was elected on a platform of platitudes. People gather by the thousands, and look at him as though he is the savior who will fix all our problems. Multitudes are placing their trust in this unconstitutional leftist who yes….; "pals around with terrorists." William Ayers was interviewed after the election of Obama and made two things clear. 1) He is a friend of Obama. 2) He is totally unrepentant about blowing up buildings, homes, and people.
This economic problem has left us in a situation where the globalists feel embolden in their desire for one world government. So you think I am making this up? You think I am some sort of conspiracy nut? Well listen to the words of the prime minister of England, Gordon Brown;
"The international financial crisis has given world leaders=2 0a unique opportunity to create a truly global society."
"Britain, The United States, and Europe are key to forging a new world order."
"If we learn from our experience of turning unity of purpose into unity of action, we can together seize the moment of change in our world to create a truly global society."
How about the words of Henry Kissinger;
"It cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant component. Yes, there will be a new world order, and it will force the United States to change its perceptions."
And Bill Clinton:
We can't be so fixated on our=2 0desire to preserve the righ ts of ordinary Americans."
How about Robert Mundell (known as the father of the Euro);
"International monetary reform usually becomes possible only in response to a felt need and the threat of a global crisis."
In this present economic crisis we are seeing the American people placing their hope in the government. The government is taking more and more power and now the world leaders who are globalist are chomping at the bit for more global power. Wake up America, one world currency is coming and bringing with it a one world government! Global centralized power equals global tyranny and an end to self determination. Most Americans are simply ignorant of the Constitution and the principles that this nation was founded upon. Due to crisis, masses of the American people are will ing to give up their constitutional rights for "security". As Benjamin Franklin said;
"They that give up essential liberty to obtain a little20temporary safety, deserve neither liberty or safety."
Barack Obama is exactly the man for the job if you desire more government, more globalism, more centralized power, and less liberty. Obama will work with a global mind-set and will be used by the enemies of liberty to move toward a one world government. Both the Republicans and the Democrats have betrayed us. The put their hands on the Bible and swear to "defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic." What a lie. Most of the ones who take the oath are themselves enemies of the very Constitution they swear to protect. History teaches us of tyranny gaining power in times of crisis. This is a crisis and I think it is clear that America will take the bait; hook line and sinker! We will give up liberty, self determination, and our property in the name of security.
I have heard many say that they just want to get along with the world." They just want everyone to agree to "work together." That sounds nice but it is simply not possible. Why not?...Because not everyone believes in freedom. There has been, is now, and will always be people who=2 0want to take liberty away. This is why Thomas Jefferson said;
"The Price of freedom is eternal vigilance"
I am not interested in "world peace" if that means my family, and my fellow countrymen are not free. I am not interested in "getting along" if it means that the Constitution is disregarded. I am not interested in "working together" if it means that we become socialists, and married to global socialism. Those who want peace at any cost do not understand what this country was founded on. Peace is nice but it must be understood that peace is never the ultimate goal, freedom is. Where ever we can "live peaceably" we should. Whenever we can "get along" we should, whenever we can "work together" we should, but nev er at the cost of personal Constitutional freedom or at the cost of American sovereignty. EVER! All of the problems we have can be traced to two things; 1) Our politicians and judges ignoring the Constitution 2) Our personal decisions to forsake the Ten Commandments.
Fight against tyranny, don't give in=2 0to fear, and never give up ever! If the proverbial "sky is falling," don't allow yourself to trust tyranny. Tyranny is never the answer, liberty is.
